Let’s be clear that this review is about customer service! Overall, the cleaning was passable, but nothing that I was at all excited about. Let’s also be clear that my house is Instagram worthy. It is incredibly organized and very minimalist, but I was having a surgery The following week and just wanted to make sure it was super clean. Let’s begin with the fact that I had a full text exchange with someone from this company. The service was to take place on Sunday morning at 10 o’clock. At 10:15, I had not heard from anyone and around 10:30. I get a message from someone who is at a completely different address. The cleaner finally arrives and was extremely apologetic, which I appreciate appreciated. It was not her fault, she was given the wrong address by their customer service person. The cleaning commenced, and I immediately knew this wasn’t a professional company, but that more than likely, it would be clean enough. The cleaner was a little sketchy, but she was sweet. I cannot say I was comfortable, but I had to make do because of the upcoming surgery. I noticed the issue with the stove after the cleaner mopped her way out of the door, so there was no time to call her back and have it corrected plus, I was having surgery the following day so I just took photos so that I could share with the provider when I was back home. I reached out to the provider with photos when I returned home and the person attempted to dismiss the issue as not a big deal instead of offering to correct it. The tone of their text was as if I should take vinegar or some sort of cleaner and fix it myself. Keep in mind, I literally just had surgery 36 hours ago , so lifting heavy grates off of a stove and scrubbing is not on the agenda. This company offers a service where if something after a cleaning is not to your expectation, they will address it. What they don’t make clear, is it has to be the exact same CLEANER that missed the mark. This would be OK if I was more comfortable with the person who was in my house , but I wasn’t and I made that clear to them. THIS IS WHERE CUSTOMER SERVICE WENT HORRIBLY WRONG. Once I made it clear that I was physically unable to fix the issue myself, but also was not terribly comfortable with the person who was at my home, you would think that they would offer to send someone else to fix the issue. First and foremost because I’ve already spent my money but second because I’m recovering from surgery and it’s just the kind thing to do For a customer. NOPE!!!!! There was absolutely no attempt to come up with an alternative solution, which is horrible customer service in this particular industry. I would not recommend using these people at all for a host of reasons first and foremost, because customer service does not matter and second because I doubt very seriously They are licensed and bonded given the person that showed up to my home. Now for ultimate transparency, my family owns a cleaning company in Northern California. I am well aware of what it takes to get your housekeepers background checked and in compliance. I’m going to leave this comment here and just say the person that showed up at my house Was not in compliance and probably had not gone through a background check.
Description of Work: Contracted this service to do a very simple surface clean of two bathrooms, one bedroom, and kitchen. Not even the entire house! Was having surgery the following week and just needed to make sure all surfaces were cleaned and sanitized.

Here is the review I text her. Crystal, I will give you a review directly, instead of with the service, to give you a chance to raise your self-awareness. 1. You are slow as ****. You were in the bathroom forever. 2. You are lazy. You were in the bathroom forever, and you didn't even bother to clean around and behind the litter box. 3. You are an *******. You used my mop, then put it back on the shelf wet, which will **** up the shelf. 4. You are blind. You did a **** job mopping the floor. 5. You have no concern for quality servicd. You cleaned the coffee table by wiping the table and OVER the mat, instead of removing the mat to clean the table. 6. You used cheap, disgusting, cleaning products. My place now smells like a ******* urinal. 7. The living room mirror looks worse than before you touched it. 8. The refrigerator looks worse than before you touched it. 9. You were almost 2 hours late, said not to worry, and promised you'd hook it up, and do a great job. That was a lie. Instead, you did half-*****, zero ethic, service. 10. You showed me you can't be trusted, by following up with an inqury about a personal item you saw in my bedroom, showing me, not only you are aware of personal items in my place, but also that they may have value to you. 11. You cheated me on time. Taking things out to the car in the middle of service, and telling me you would call me to come back in, showed me that you planned on taking longer than you should, and/or planned on doing something you didn't want me to see. I tipped you because you seemed like you needed it. Your work is the worst I have experienced.

HORRIBLE! I contracted with BLT cleaners to clean my home. The cleaner showed up 15 minutes late and immediately began to moan and groan about having bad sciatica, I felt for her as I have had it myself. I proceeded to explain what needed to be done in great detail and she began working, all the while moaning, groaning, and crying in pain about her back. I asked if she was ok to continue and she said yes. Ihad an appointment, so I left a check to pay her and I left. An hour or so later I received a text that she would only accept cash, no other form of payment, and also left 40 minutes early. I also received pictures of the DISASTER she left behind. I returned home to find the granite and wood floors completely streaked and sticky with some sort of solution. The stainless steel appliances looked like someone smeared something on them, the glass surfaces, that were touched, as many were not cleaned at all, were also all smeared. There was a layer of water in our bathroom trash can???? And wet towels left on doorknobs. I could go on and on but you get. INEPT! I contacted the "company" immediately and to make a very long story, and text chain short, the only option I was given was for the same person to come back and fix it. I told them I would like someone different as this person was obviously not qualified to do the task or she would have done it right the first time, and was told in no uncertain terms that this was their "policy" and that's all they would do. They even went so far as to have her call me to apologize. WHY??? We exchanged many other texts where i asked them to make it right and send someone else, and was told that I was being condescending and not to tell them how to run their business. If you're even THINKING of hiring this scam of a company…..DON'T. I spent 2 hours cleaning their mistakes, and guarantee you will too! Save your money! They are obviously amateurs and will most likely be out of business soon if this is the Level of service they deliver.

The one who went to my place ignored my instruction, I told her that there's the most important room to be completely cleaned.. I was hoping that she'll do that first but she had her own plans. She cleans her own way. She told me that she will do the other rooms first until she didn't have enough time to clean the most important room. So I contacted the manager that I need a cleaner to come back to clean the other room and I'm willing to pay but the manager refused. I sent a long detailed email but he didn't respond.

Description of Work: They only received a B rating because of some administrative issues. I really enjoyed using BLT cleaning services. The cleaner who came to my house got more done in 4 hours than most other services. The house was in great condition when she left, and I felt inclined to tip her the same amount I would for a $100 service. The first time I scheduled with BLT they accidentally double booked my appointment time, and no one called or showed up. When I called BLT to inquire: I was informed of the issue, they rescheduled me, and gave me "free time" on my next service. When I booked my 2nd service on the 1st of April, they charged me for a 3 hour cleaning and provided me a 4 hours of service. I would definitely use them again, however I will definitely be requesting the cleaner who I got last time because she made everyone else look just eh.
