+ -1 moreOverall I was very pleased with the outcome. The floor matches beautifully with the original floor. I don't think anyone seeing it for the first time will be able to detect that it is not the original floor. The job the did was neat and clean and very professionally done. they even did some detail work that I was not expecting. It took them several weeks to make the floor, but once it was done the installation went very quickly. Cary Conley, the owner, also was very helpful in explaining how to care for the floor, giving me the cleaning products necessary to maintain the floor and also giving a lot of adhesive pads to put on my furniture to keep from scratching the floors. Anyone who has a old house like mine, with unusual, hard to match floors, should really call this guy for help. I feel the price, for the amount of work that went into producing this floor was really great.
Description of Work: I recently bought a 100 year old house that had been added on to. Although the add on was very well done and impossible to tell from the original structure, the wood floor that was put in the add-on was not appropriate to the age of the house, and did not at all match the original floor. The floor was an odd size not produced anymore and the type of wood was different than what is generally made today, so I needed to have a floor made from scratch. I was having trouble finding someone to do this until my brother told me about American Hardwood LLC , they were able to make me a floor that is nearly identical to the original floor.
