BROTHERS TERMITE

I've been using these for years and the service was excellent.

The damage was extensive and visible from the street. TThey were there for three days and did a professional job. Workers were efficient, worked hard, and cleaned up so you wouldn't even know they were there. Overall excellent job repairing and replacing damage. The outside of the house looked new again.

Under the state of CA the says you must have a 1 year warranty. We called them within 8-9 months to have them do an inspection and follow up treatment. They did come but denied that there were termites and did not do the work. The guy was mean and unreasonable. We tried calling other termite companies, but no one would come because the house was new and they new that Dave from Brothers Termite would have a penalty put on his license. The termite companies must have some sort of unspoken agreement to protect each other.

Fence: the workers either didn't show up or worked only a few hours each day. They left messes including litter from their food, wood shavings and pieces that had to be swept up, tools on top of plants, etc. etc. They sat around a lot of the time. There was no supervision, as promised. Nothing improved when I complained. The tenants were furious. Termite Tenting: The workers were over an hour late arriving -the tenants had to wait around. When the workers came back to take down the tents and check the apts. they did not have the keys that were left with them. Keys were finally found in someone's truck in Bell Gardens. It took over an hour to get them. They locked the laundry room door preventing the Gas Co. to turn on the hot water heater. It was a holiday weekend and the tenants were without hot water for 3 days. Dave Gay promised a small discount ($2,500) but instead added $6,000 to the bill. After much arguing, he took off the $6,000 but would not give the discount.

THE REPAIRS WERE DONE WITH SMALL PIECES OF WOOD LEAVING THE TRIM LOOKING LIKE A PUZZLE. NO TREATMENT WAS OBVIOUS AND THE RETURN VISIT WHICH HAD BEEN PROMISED NEVER CAME. SLOPPY JOB AND NO FOLLOW THROUGH FROM COMPANY.
