Description of Work: They helped moved me out of a downtown high rise into a house they were excellent on a difficult and quick move time was of the essence do to city regs and they got it done. They handled and as a team it was a very successful move for all of us I would recommend them to anyone!

Description of Work: I purchased a deal that included two movers for three hours to move approximately 30miles. The movers showed up on time and were extremely quick and professional. Just about all of my things were already boxed so they were able to load the truck and complete my move in approximately two hours. | |My only complaint would be regarding the scheduling of the move. I had been in touch with the company and returned all necessary paperwork two weeks before my desired move date. Unfortunately, they said they couldn't schedule me until one week before my actual move. I was told to call back then to schedule. I thought that was odd. | |So I called back eight days before my desired move date but they informed me that they were booked solid for that day. How could that happen if they wouldn't let me schedule until a week before? Did everyone else get to schedule ahead but not me. | |The uncertainty in the scheduling was pretty unnerving since I had to move out of my apartment but didn't have a confirmed date from the movers. Luckily they had availability a few days before my desired date and I took it. | |Scheduling aside, the move went extremely smooth.

Description of Work: The two gentlemen who moved me were late due to a scheduling conflict that was outside their control. However, once they arrived, they were very professional, courteous, quick and creative with moving out two very large items through a very small space. :) I would hire this company again for sure, especially if I could get these same two guys. I have never had such a smooth moving experience - aside from the couple of hour delay at the beginning.

Description of Work: It was made very clear to me before & during my move that I was really only paying for approx 2 hours of time rather than 3 hrs as advertised on angies list due to drive time. Be aware of this & do as much as you can on your own or you will have to pay them more.

Description of Work: I purchased an additional man for $15 per hour to help with the loading and moving heavy appliances. Coupon was for 6 hours 3 men. It took 4 men 8.75 hours. I knew going in it would take longer then the six, so I asked them in advance what the hourly fee would be after the initial six hours. Received that info, so additional cost was expected. They were very professional and I would use them again.

Description of Work: Sterling Van Lines moved a large player piano from Southern California to Seattle Washington. I shopped around and Sterling Van Lines was competitive with other movers. However with the offer through Angie's List, Sterling became my #1 choice. I have no regrets. Sterling was very responsive to my emails and phone calls and did a wonderful job of relocating the player piano without any damage to the piano or the houses it was moved from/to. I would certainly use Sterling again should I ever need to move this particular piano - or any others.
