We hired Plumbing Exerts to exchange a water heater after receiving an offer from a competitor for about 1/3 higher cost.
Their plumber was on time and checked out the leak issue we had. We hired another company to examine the work and sadly their diagnosis was wrong. He asked if we like to continue with the work and I agreed, as out water heater was 25 years old.
The man worked hard in 114⁰ F. And he finished, cleaned everything up. Yes, I checked if there are nails or screws on the floor and found nothing.
We’re really happy with the work Plumbing Experts did and will hire them again if needed. Hopefully we don’t have to…

I called Gabriel from Plumbing Experts on a Friday Night about a hot water leak coming from inside a bathroom wall in my house. He talked me through how to turn off the hot water only, so I could still have cold water until he arrived the following morning as I requested. Gabriel and his son worked on the leak for more than 5 hours on a Saturday, ultimately finding the leak, a pipe that had a floorboard nail in it. They ended up having to cut multiple pipes to give us a proper repair given the inaccessibility of the damaged pipe. They did a great job, and were very nice to my kids running around them while they worked. If I have a plumbing issue in the future, I'm calling Gabriel and his company, Plumbing Experts, to handle it.

"Horrible! Although Gabe responded within hours of call on January 21, 2021, all 3 of 3 tasks were inadequate to poor. 1. He assured that dryer exhaust was cleared and venting but upon first use, learned it was not (poor). 2. A minor toilet repair went from constant water running to no flush at all (poor). 3. The shower bypass for use of handheld sprayer did not operate properly which he did not advise,.... I found and questioned only to learn of additional cost to replace. Gabe was contacted within 3 days regarding concerns and inoperability but he responded only via text dialog with redundant questions asked while on site. Not once did he offer to revisit, reassess and correct, nor offer to provide additional service. Five days following alleged repairs on January 26, after becoming frustrated for what appeared as zero concern for services paid, I sent a specific request for him to return. A follow-up was sent the 27th, again requesting an ETA and advising that a final bill had never been provided. He requested, and was provided my email for invoice / bill so as to send invoice,.....still nothing as of January 31. Obviously, I must seek more professional services but also filed a formal complaint with CSLB (state contractor board), and other action as warranted. BEWARE! This guy should NOT be in business." Don't he didn't want to come back he could have simply refunded for services not rendered. It's that simple.

+ 0 moreVery bad experience, the guy knew we were under a time crunch because we were realtors from out of the area, I made this very clear to him. He said he could do the inspection and when I called the day of to make sure everything was good he was no where to be found. He did not return my 10 phone calls or numerous voicemails expressing the urgency of the situation. It feels like a small operation, if you're on a deadline or need someone that shows up when they say they will I would stay away from them!
Description of Work: Sewer Inspection - If they showed up, which they didn't.

+ -1 more5 hours from catastrophe to relief! Sunday morning doing laundry in our new home the tub and shower begin to back up. We look under the house and see water coming from the drain pipe. We called Gabe, he said he'd be there by noon, arrived when he said and fixed it in 2 hours! He's responsive, professional and reasonably priced. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him or use him again.

Description of Work: Gabriel was great up until he wanted 50% of the money before he started!!!! Real RED FLAG for me! I am associated with the construction business for 35 years! I never had a trades man want even 10% up front!!! Don't hire anyone when they want money up front because they might never show up to do the job and got paid for it!!! VERY unprofessional. Even sleezy. Did he think I was that gullible?

He explained our problem, what we needed to do to avoid the same problem, and was so courteous and friendly. I highly recommend you use him if you need this type of service. I'm not going to waste my time calling anyone else in the future! Thank you, Gabriel Padilla, you made a very hard weekend a lot easier!!
Description of Work: Why does everything have to happen on holiday weekends?? Seems it's always the way. First of all, let me say I live in an older condo, and I've had two different pluming companies out in the past for other drain/clean out issues- one very popular, and very expensive. The second was the friend of the condo owner, and he was friendly and fair, but he was doing the service as a favor and lives too far away to call for this kind of thing. Our toilet overflowed and for some reason it was a difficult clog. It was only the toilet this time, nothing in the other bathroom/sinks, etc. We tried the plunger, drano, the "snake" you buy from Walmart, and sulfuric acid (I believe, it's professional drain clearing liquid that about takes the lining from your lungs) and nothing worked. I called someone else on this list, and was told I'd have to wait about 6 hours for a service call (with water backing up all over my floor, already a huge mess and I have to tell you the lady answering the phone (co-owner) was NOT too friendly. I called someone else from this list who never called me back at all. Then I came to this listing- and I was nervous, because Gabriel didn't have any reviews. I took a chance and called. He was close by, and we went over the problem briefly and Gabriel said he could be here in 10 minutes. I think he got here in five! Efficient, helpful, had the toilet cleared within five or ten minutes. Gabriel could have gotten me coming and going- I'm a female, it's a holiday weekend- but he's fair, he's HONEST and he does a GREAT JOB!!!
