We are totally happy with the installation of our new water heater. We were able to have it installed the very next day. We were updated as to when they would arrive. They arrived exactly on-time. Their work was very professional and efficient. We highly recommend Tommy T's Plumbing in Barstow. The price for service was very reasonable.

At first I was apprehensive about price, possible mess or damage. Being a first time customer and new to the area I had no idea what to expect. When Roger arrived I was surprised at how quickly the job was completed and how reasonable the cost. If I have problems in future and I'm sure I will, its an old house, Tommy T's will be the first I call. The work was professional and was a job well done. Rob

Never met these guys -- trust them completely. Frank is really terrific at running the show. He even goes out to the field if necessary. I'll only use these guys going forward. Fair price; totally reliable; I've had him out to my property twice.

They replaced everything. Put in a new drain for the shower, tiled the shower, floor, and halfway up wall all around. New sink and vanity, new toilet(which, by the way, has only plugged up once in 4 yrs.) new mirror, new lighting, painted, replaced bathroom outside door, installed sliding shower door (which had to be special ordered because standard size wouldn't fit). They also put in a new drain for our washing machine which shared a wall with our bathroom, so they did it at the same time. The only delays were caused by special ordering the shower door and when we left for two weeks. We love our bathroom and highly recommend Tommy T's to everybody! (I thought I already wrote a review for this but Angie's List kept asking for a review, so if this is a duplicate, oh well)

Bathroom faucet broke. Bought replacement, couldn't get it installed. Called Tommy's -- owner and helper came out due to high volume. Quick, friendly, professional, knowledgeable.

They came out within 2 hours of my phone call to give me a Free Quote. Had the Official Quote for my insurance company by the end of this same day. They were a couple Hundred dollars less than the company My stupid Insurance called for the work I needed (Broken water pipe IN Kitchen Concrete floor, also called a 'Slab Leak'). The cost listed above does not include the money paid by my insurance.

Tommy and his people arrived promptly this morning and started looking into the problem. They ran a snake into my pipe and were able to get in around 15 feet before the snake hung up. They then put a camera into the pipe to locate the location of the break. The camera got stuck in the break area and with the location equipment, they were able to pinpoint where the camera was, so they could cut into the slab. The break happened to be past the kitchen and in the dining room. His people started breaking up the floor. Once they got down to where the pipe was, it was in very bad shape. They worked with me in digging under the wall and into the kitchen instead of breaking the floor in the kitchen to get to a good section of pipe. They only had to cut out 3 tile sections of my dining room floor to get out all of the bad pipe. Once they had good pipe on bot ends of the break area, they put in a PVC replacement piece and sealed it up. They then filled in the area and put cement to fix the hole in the slab. Tommy T's guys were completely professional and personable towards me. The cost of the repair was less than estimated, by nearly $700. Technician tried to work with company to get them to send new pilot. after further review he advised us that it would cost more to get warranty through and worked with us.

Overall it went well. The plumbers came out for free to determine the best ways to fix the issue. They came me two quotes, one for repairing the line and the other to re-route the line. Two plumbers came and were got the job done in 2 hours. $725 seemed steep for only 2 hours of work but it was on par with other quotes I received.

We have used Tommy T several times over the years. They are also very friendly. Professional and honest. They have good prices and are very reliable. I highly recommend them.

It took longer than we had anticipaited however some of it was due to our being out of town and items that had to be special ordered. This was our first time with remodeling so there were lots of things we didn't know like which tiles to use for flooring and which to use for walls. I would recommend researching and asking lots of questions. We were very happy with the quality of their work and would highly recommend Tommy T's!

I have lived in Barstow 61 years(alas!) and I have become used to the shoddy workmanship and lazy attitude of the service people here. I was not really satisfied with my old plumber. Imagine my shock and good fortune when I discovered Tommy T's Plumbing. They are conscientious, thorough, diligent and HONEST. How many service people would you trust completely.? I would give Tommy T's the keys to my house while on a month's vacation and not have an iota of worry. It turns out that you will save money with Tommy T's because they work faster than the other plumbers I have hired. I had hired them previously and they installed 2 new faucet fixtures in less than an hour. I was totally amazed because Brand X plumbing took an hour to replace just one. They had to go under the house in a dirty, cobweb filled crawl space to replace part of a clogged drain. They did not hesitate to get totally filthy to do the job. If I could give them an A+, I would still be understating my satisfaction with them. A special thanks to Roger, who went the extra mile to satisfy my neurotic whims.

Wife discovered that she had a leak from Master Bathroom's shower into her closet. Woke me and left for work. Called the work order in to Tommy T's at 7:30 who indicated that we probably were looking at about 11AM. However, got a call at 10:15 that technician was en route. Roger Sanborn arrived about 10:30. Diagnosed the problem as a possible leak in the water distribution in back of the shower faucet. He had to leave to go to another job, but was back in about 45 minutes. Roger pulled the trim off the shower faucet, and diagnosed that it was not the problem. He neatly cut away a couple of pieces of drywall, and determined that the builder had used high quality material which had actually shrunk to fit and sealed after the wallboard installer put a couple of nails in the length of material used in the piping. Roger cut it out and showed me how the leak had started when the nails had rusted through. Actually, pretty funny. As we talked, I said that my wife had thought we had burst a pipe, which I thought was rare around here; Roger said no, actually it happens fairly often when there is a freeze and in the older homes. He mentioned that his daughter had won the School Science Fair the night before with a project about burst pipes in the high desert. He finished the job, cleaned up, took my check and made certain I had a business card. While I hope I don't need these guys again, they've got my business if I do.
