All Star Garage Door

Description of Work: I had a two car heavy wood garage door removed and replaced with a standard/basic white metal door. They also replaced the garage door opener and installed a keypad on the exterior of the house. This company is contracted with Costco. It was pretty quick- I think the installer came out just a few days after I signed the contract. They used a subcontractor, and he was very professional and asked me for my opinion about details like where I wanted the keypad, etc. I would definitely recommend going through all-star... It was a straightforward transaction.

I prepaid for the service for two garages. Based on the wording I should be getting $1210 credit toward my purchase of any garage door. The company does not state that there is only one specific kind of door that can be purchased according to the owner. The owner also stated that the wording means I will get a door worth $605 for $430. There is nothing in the fine print that states that, and I feel that this is false advertisement.

Description of Work: One insulated garage door was totally ruined when driven into by a visitor. All Star, as well as another company, came the same day we called. Both were acceptable. The insurance company made the choice. All Star's bid was slightly less. The workmen came even earlier than expected. They were efficient and courteous. There were a couple of "tricky" situations as the two insulated doors had been there for thirty years and cupboards had been built that made the replacement awkward. The problem was addressed and the result was very good. The cleanup and carry-away was complete and the doors are in good working order. I would recommend All Star!

Description of Work: I used a Big Deal coupon to replace springs on a 16x7 sectional steel door. The service provider was timely and pointed out the broken spring to me. He promptly performed the replacements and inspected the door. My only concern was that he advised me it would cost an extra 100 dollars in addition to the coupon cost to replace both springs on the door. This was not explained in the coupon.

Description of Work: It's actually been quite a while since we used this company. We had 2 single, matching doors installed. We picked out the color, style, and type of windows we wanted. What I love about the doors is how quiet they are - they glide very smoothly on the tracks. The installer removed the existing doors, which were wood and termite-eaten, and took all the wreckage away. The doors still look great a few years later and are easy to keep clean. I honestly can't remember what we paid for them but it was worth it. Good company, good product.

After ordering our new door, they were immediately able to set an installation date, and when the day arrived, they showed up on time. We weren't exactly sure what style of garage door we wanted, and All Star was able to show us many different examples and offer helpful suggestions. We have a two-car garage, and we purchased a steel front and steel back insulated door. We really liked that their price included everything -- tax, installation, weather stripping, and haul away.
