They are very good and very conscientious. I will definitely recommend them and absolutely use them, again.

They relocated sprinkler pipe and valves and everything was done very professionally.

I received very poor service. Do not purchase any of the offers without contacting first. I attempted multiple times to call the contractor by phone and I left voicemails asking to be called back. I was very interested, due to this site. I never received a call. Finally, I texted and initially received a rude reply until the contractor realized I wanted a quote. I received one text back asking for my address and to set up a time, and after that I never heard from him again. I don't understand this sort of thing, even if you're busy why wouldn't you answer your phone and provide some customer service? It was going to be around $6000, ended up going elsewhere and getting a very nice patio done.

Jimmy came by the day prior to give us an estimate and I asked what was his schedule. He responded, "We could get it done tomorrow," and it did happen the very next day. His crew came early in the morning and stay late into the night. He was very concern the job was done right and he cleaned up after himself very throughly. I would highly recommend his services to others who need cement work done at their home.

Great experience from day one. What started as a new patio turned in to the backyard of our dreams !! Jimmy is super easy to work with & has a great crew. We trusted them all & couldn't have asked for a harder working crew. The more we got to know jimmy the more we were comfortable adding more to our budget. He really has a great vision in explaining what he can do & turning our ideas into reality. We had no intention of spending this much initially, now we feel our backyard is worth more than we could have ever imagined !! The WOW factor from before & after is truly amazing !! To top it all off we're using jimmys brother Rick of pacific construction services to finish it all off with a patio cover, 12ft by 24ft pool room ( which jimmy also poured & I didn't list above) and a built in BBQ. Valley Concrete gets my highest recommendation for just a super job.

I was very pleased with what they did. They are pretty good people. They did a great job and were on time. They had a look at it and gave me the price and they were back the same day to pour the concrete. So far there are no cracks. I would'nt use anybody else for concrete.

I called this company several times and put in a two online requests to get an estimate on a repair project. It took over a week to finally get a response. After speaking with the owner he apologized for the late response and we set an appointment for him to come out the following evening to inspect my home and provide an estimate. The owner never showed and did not bother to call. Needless to say, I did not pursue it any longer. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise, because I was looking for a licensed contractor and upon checking the company's license status online, I found that their license is suspended.

They were prompt and neat and did exactly what they said they were going to. Even took care of unforeseen complications.

It turned out very good. Happy with their service.

Professional and quality work. Jimmy is very easy to work with and easy to get in touch with. They did what they said they would do at a decent price and in a timely manner. Great crew, they kept me informed through the job and cleanup was excellent. Will use them again if needed

Upon moving into my brand new house, I called several companies for an estimate on pouring concrete for walkways and a back patio. Jimmy was the only one who returned my call. I was very impressed with him and the estimate was right about what I had budgeted for the job. His crew showed up on time, worked hard, and cleaned up after the job was complete. They started when they said they would and finished when they said they would. I am so happy with my new patio! As the concrete began drying, I had some questions about how the concrete looked, was it okay to hose it down, etc. I left Jimmy a message and he called me back within the hour. He is responsive and explains things in an easy to understand manner. He and the crew went above and beyond my expectations. If I need any concrete work done in the future, this company will be my first choice.

Although Valley Concrete wasn't the lowest bid I chose them to do the work because I felt confident that Jimmy understood what I wanted and what my expectations were. Jimmy was professional at all times as were all the staff at Valley Concrete. Jimmy responded to all my requests quickly and professionally, and, most importantly, completed the job to my expectations. The work was fantastic, the price was fair, the service was excellent.

Unable to secure estimate or possible work from Valley Concrete because company never returned my call asking for an estimate.

Contacted Jimmy from Valley after reading on here. Showed up right on time for estimate. Gave me a very fair price. On the day work was to be done,crew was right on time. Crew was very professional, and respectful of my family. The work was very high quality. Cleaned up everything. When I have the rest of my concrete done, Valley will for sure be the ones who do the job. I would recommend valley to anybody wanting quality work done.

Vally Concrete provided a fair estimate for the work provided. Jimmy came out the same day I called and gave me options and an estimate. We needed a back curb to properly install concrete blocks for a retaining wall. They arrived on time with a crew of 5 and got right to work. They removed a few railroad posts and then dug a trench for the concrete. Jimmy explained the work and what they would be doing in detail. Jimmy handled everything including the concrete truck and out not quite even existing work. The work was completed the same day and ahead of time. I would hire them again if I needed additional concrete work since he was the only concrete guy I could find that was licensed, bonded, and insured who would return my calls.

First of all I have to say I am so grateful for Angies List. I would not have found this company without it. I got three estimates (all about the same) and I picked Valley Concrete because the owner, Mr Martinez, made me feel calm about the whole project which seemed so gigantic. Martinez came to give the estimate exactly when he said he would. I asked him to give me the estimate based on two areas front and back. I wasn't sure if we could afford to do the whole thing at once. He gave me a great price so we decided to do it all. The whole job took 3 days. Martinez oversaw the entire thing, actually stayed to help his men. All his employees were polite and very hardworking. He evened accepted changes that I made midstream without sighing or complaining. He didn't even change the price. There was one incident that I had with a landscape designer (Nothing to do with Valley Concrete) that I had hired and I had to let him go in the middle of the concrete job, which presented a problem for me with the sprinklers. Martinez was amazing to us and just told me not to worry about it. His guys stayed late and did the landscapers job for us. No complaining, happy to help attitude. Where do you find that today???? I am still so impressed with this company. I am looking for other jobs for them to do! Highly Recommend!

Jim, the owner, responded promptly to my call and came in with a bid that was well priced. They began work within three days and completed the job in 1 and 1/2 days. Their work was meticulous and professional. Jim and his crew did not cut any corners in preparing the site, was very attentive to the aesthetics of the project, very punctual and did a great job with cleanup. The price was very good in comparison to other bids I received and they were receptive to my input and concerns. The job was completed quickly and well. I would highly recommend Valley Concrete to anyone looking for quality, professional concrete work.

I am giving this company a poor rating because I contacted them twice and they never even bothered to call me back. After talking to another company that knew someone from Valley Concrete they told me that they do not do project under a certain amount and that, bascially, my project was too small. I would have appreciated a call back at least.

Excellent from beginning to end! Very responsive and professional . The quality of the work was outstanding. Everything exceeded my expectations - all contractors should follow Valley Concrete's example!

They came out, they didn't’t mess around, and they just did the work. This was my first experience and I really expected messes, but everything was taken care of and the price was reasonable.
