Description of Work: Drain collapsed in middle of kitchen under the foundation. Big job needed to be done. Demo, extract, and repair. Complete in same day. (Except tiling of kitchen)

Description of Work: Came and replaced the shower handles and nozzle, and did extra without extra compensation. Will call again for future issues that come up.

Description of Work: Located the source of a leak from a corroded pipe in the attic. Water was dripping from a register in the ceiling of our living room. Several other copper pipes throughout the attic and walls are corroded, and will be replaced, saving us from eventual water damage and even more costly repairs to our 42 year-old home.

Description of Work: I used the services of The Honest Plumber. We had a sink problem because our sink was backing up.

Description of Work: Replaced shower control for the master bedroom, replaced the valve and patched the wall.

Description of Work: My landlord has sent the Honest plumber out for septic issues. One of our toilets kept backing up along with the bathtub. They came and snaked the line. But we had to call them back out a week later due to it being clogged again. The second visit was free due to it being less then 30 days. They ended up having to send a video down the line. We had a line that need to be replaced due to roots.

Description of Work: Day one was a pilot light for the water heater in a rental that wasn't lit (we eventually found out that property management company or contractor turned off the main gas supply) and property management company was unwilling to call home warranty company. We called the Honest Plumber directly and they went out within a couple of hours and took care of it. Renters loved them and all was well. Next day the sewer started backing up and again, property management company screwed up. They called two companies to come out and HP was one. They left when they saw the other company was there but the other company didn't do what they said they did (fix the problem) so renter or warranty company called them back out in the evening to repair. They went out, assessed the problem and worked all day the next day to get the line usable. They were in contact with us the whole time to let us know the status as the property management company decided it was too much work to take care of their own business. We have used them multiple times in the past and are completely satisfied. We had no idea they were associated with our warranty company, we called them because we knew they were professional, prompt, courteous and have always come through for us.

Description of Work: I had a water leak in my kitchen ceiling coming from the upstairs Jacuzzi tub. My home warranty company sent the Honest Plumber to make the repair. I took off work to have this repair done. After cutting a hole in my kitchen ceiling I was told by the plumber that he needed an assistant to help repair the "P Drain". I had to take off work again on 9/12/11 and the plumber showed up alone to do the job. I asked about his assistant and he said no one was available and he could do the job alone. He removed the original copper pipe and tub drain and replaced the copper with plastic and the drain with a toe tap drain, forgot to re-plug the Jacuzzi correctly and did not repair the tub and pipes correctly. I told him that I did not want a toe tap drain and he said that he would leave it until he found a longer lever to fill and empty the tub. When he left, I notieced that he threw away old and un-needed new purchased parts but kept the copper pipe (without asking). He said he would look for the proper lever because he couldn't find one long enough to put the tub back correctly. He said that he would collect the $55 service fee when he found the correct replacement lever. After he left I tried the power to the Jacuzzi and it didn't work. I called the plumber to tell him that the power didn't work and he said that he must have not plugged the power into the power source right. When he came back to plug in the Jacuzzi tub, he said he couldn't find the correct part and that he wanted his $55 service fee check. I explained that he would be paid when the work was done correctly and the toe tap drain was replaced with the correct drain part. That night I took a bath and water started gushing through the open kitchen ceiling. We found that the pipes were not attached/aligned correctly and had water everywhere. I contacted my home warranty company and was given permission to hire another plumber. The new plumber ordered the required parts to fix the problem because it took "Jacuzzi" parts for the lever and draining system. This plumber was able to make the right decision by using the correct parts to fix the problem. It is a "no brainer" that a Jacuzzi tub would require Jacuzzi parts and not parts for a normal bathtub.

Description of Work: The washers had eroded, causing a leak in my shower. They changed the stems and it fixed the problem.
