STOCKDALE AIRE INC

The AC unit on my 25 year-old HVAC system finally died. I called Stockdale Aire and we had them do a full AC/Furnace replacement. The turnaround time from the our first call to everything being done was amazingly quick, especially in the middle of the worst heat-wave of the summer. They gave me separate quotes for minimum repairs, partial replacement, and full replacement. No gimmicks or pressure, and at a price lower than I was expecting. The install started at 7:30 and was done by 3:00, which included having to remove and replace the entire blower and furnace unit in the attic. Highly recommend!

I just had a new AC installed by Stockdale Aire. What a great group of people to work with! From the estimate, to the gentleman who came out to measure to make sure everything was right, to the person who answers the phone all the way to the kind people who came out and did the installation! I felt cared for and nothing seemed rushed but was done quickly. Clean, on-time and I felt satisfied when they were done. If you are looking, you can count on Stockdale Aire. Give them a call!!!

Went great.... minor problem later, called and they came right away and fixed the problem.

They are always very personable and that helps because it's easier to talk them, especially since I'm usually here by myself so I have questions. They don't make me feel stupid for asking certain questions and they have always been very honest with how our unit is working or what it needs, or whatever.

Professional and kind. The repair was made in a very short time. They know what they're doing!

***Updated 6-9-14*** I was contacted promptly at 8am with an apology for not getting back to me yesterday. I gave them my wife's information and she was contacted within the hour that they were on the way. They arrived promptly and my wife states he was very professional and very nice. The unit was repaired within the hour and is now working again. Had this happened yesterday during emergency service hours it would be A+ across the boaard. Unfortunately it made for a hot Sunday night. Would use again for sure. Still waiting to be contacted.

Great service, very knowledgable, job well done. Price includes needed freon

The service technician called me to check if I was home just before the appointment time. I was home and the service technician arrive in about 20 minutes at the appointment time. He check refrigerant charge, electrical connections, measured the volts/amps and lubricated all moving parts. Then he cleaned evaporator coil, condenser coil, and the condensate drain. I had already replaced the air filter so he didn't do that. He checked the thermostat calibration. After the all the work was done and he gave me a written report that indicated that everything check out and I signed work order. He was finished in about 30 minutes.

Technician came and replaced a part and fixed it in 20 minutes. The only problem was that I was never called nor advised of the cost of the repairs and only realized the cost after getting a bill in the mail. Other than that, everything was done great.

Mark, the technician was great. He diagnosed the problem quickly and explained it so that I could understand. He even petted the dog and answered the questions of a 3year old. My only complaint was that it took 3 days to get an appointment. But we do live in Bako and it is hot! We will absolutely call Stockdale Aire again if we need them.

Called at 9 am and got a noon appointment. Serviceman was professional and completed job within a couple of hours.

Basically, Brent Poe (at Stockdale Aire) saved me $10,000! Here's the story. Another company was trying to scam me into thinking I needed to replace two split furnace-A/C units at a cost of $14,000-$15,000. He was wary of the claims and did some investigation to find that the broken heat exchangers were under warranty (contrary to what was told to me by their competitors). The A/C coil and overflow pan could be replaced and the A/C condensers cleaned (contrary to claims). The cost, $2900, was considerably cheaper than replacemnent (their quote was $2,000-$3,000 cheaper for replacement, too) and will likely last me for several more years before replacement is necessary. He may have lost out on a larger sale but he gained a loyal customer!

Brent from Stockdale Air gave me an estimate, answered all my questions within a day of my call to the office. I appreciated the knowledgeable, no rush no hard sell approach to the sales call and is the reason I chose Stockdale Air to replace my unit. Their price was competitve and all the service promised has been seen including after install trouble shooting. There was a factory set part that wasn't functioning properly, that had to be replaced, which they did within 24 hours. They promised me great service and they did not let me down. The unit is cooling well and I will continue to use and refer their great service to anyone looking for a professional, knowledgeable air conditioning/heating company.

Didn't feel that I was dealt with honestly.

They are doing an excellent job. When I call them, they usually get out the same day if problems. Our air-conditioning unit is kind of old. They are really good about trying to make them work again. They had changed out a part and it turned out to be the wrong part, so they came back and put a different part on it. They took that one back and didn’t charge us for it. They are very responsive and they really try to do the best job they can and not make you pay anymore than you have to. I would use them in the future.

They are reliable. We didn't have to wait for them to come out.

I explained the problem. Was not able to find where my late husband had put the original purchase and service warranty, but when my son and I went to Stockdale's office and presented what paperwork I had found, they were able to look in their files and find the rest of the documents, then order the replacement parts and install them.

They were very good. They did an excellent job. They were able to come out the day after I called them. It was kind of cold in the night, so they came right out the next day. I actually used them for probably twenty years now. They are the ones that have been servicing our air conditioning and they always have done a wonderful job.

First of all SA sends you a reminder for service before summer and winter season's. SA gives you a small discount on a second unit inspection/service. By taking care of your A/C inspection before peak time either summer or winter as a home owner you help SA help you. Potential issues have been corrected before it becomes an after hours call to them in the middle of summer or winter. Their technicians are very professional, have all the tools, use them properly, work very safe, very knowledgeable and answer technical questions all the time and give technical advice too on how to improve the life of your units. They also clean / wash your in-house re-usable filters if you have this kind. On one occasion one of our units was making an out of the normal noise, we called them and the technician inspected the unit. Found the problem and turned over to all the information on what was wrong and what had to be done. He asked us if we wanted SA to perform the repair. By then I realized that the failure was covered by the "home warranty" we currently have, so when the SA technician new about this, he actually went back up to the unit and recorded all the parts and materials that had to be replaced. An explain me all in detail what had to be done, so I knew what to hear and ask from the "Home warranty authorized" A/C company technician. This is a perfect example of what to expect from SA, even that they will not be performing the repair job because of the "home warranty" situation mentioned above, they still make sure that you have all information needed and even coach you on what to observe and ask even if a competitor (selected by the Home warranty) is the one doing the repair. Customer service and ownership on what you do are clear qualities of SA technicians.
