Splash Around Pool Service

Started out good with a clean up after previous pool service just quit without notice and left me a green pool. Went down hill from there. When you are 2500 miles away it is a little hard to monitor things but I had friends that checked on the house and sent pictures of my once again green pool. Splash Around told me I had a leak in the pool and I called out a leak detection company which found nothing. The problem was he was turning the valves to the spa the wrong way and when the pump came on it was pushing water out over the sides of the pool for 8 hours a day. Splash around disputed this even though the company I used is Top Dog and they have A rating on Angie's list. I have been using them for over 15 years. I was quoted a price for service on a monthly basis but every month there were additional charges usually in the hundreds of dollars. When I inquired about the pool being green again in July he blamed it on the pool needing resurfacing and he sent me an email saying he would no longer service the pool. Admitted in the email that he was not going out there weekly though that was what he was being paid for. My pool sweep was also missing after he left so there went another $350.
