+ -1 moreThe materials did not live up to expectations. Seams were highly visible, and texture and finish resembled cheap, bumpy laminate. Contractor refused to repair or replace countertops, or return monies paid. When informed the salesman that I was not happy with the seams, he replied that he could not see the seams as long as he stood in a certain area of the kitchen. So, apparently, his definition of seamless differs from the dictionary version. He stated that my tenants couldn't see the seams. When interviewed, my tenants informed the salesperson that the seams are visible. I reported the company to the Better Business Bureau, and they refuse to respond. I also reported them to the California Contractors State Licensing Board to investigate their practices. The contractors board informed me that California Fiberglass Pools are using their swimming pool license to run a separate business, called RLK Coatings - of which they do not hold a license. Furthermore, their salesman was not listed as an employee of the company. Both of these issues are in violation of contractors licensing laws. Their investigations have been upofgraded to a field investigator. BEWARE of this company!
Description of Work: Contracted to apply countertop materials which is comparable to granite. Material was to be smooth and seamless, and guaranteed to hide all imperfections.

+ -1 moreAfter application, noticeable seams, imperfections, and a crack was found. Called contractor to advise of dissatisfaction. It has been 2 months and they have not moved forward with any repairs or replacement. I was told he was busy and that I only paid him $900 up front anyway. He said he could possibly repair, but repair is not guaranteed. He would not call me to discuss on the days that he stated he would. He has stalled the process. He acknowledged saying that it was suppose to be seamless. But, he said that if you stand in a certain area of the kitchen, you can't see it. And that he can barely see it at a different angle. I complained to the BBB and the contractors licensing board. He said that was not necessary. I explained his inattentiveness to my concerns. He said he's too busy. I had a previous good experience with them. But when you have a problem, they ignore you and belittle the money that was paid and belittle your intelligence. Unprofessional. Deceptive sales practices.
Description of Work: Contracted to have a spray-on granite like material applied on kitchen cabinets on one of my rental properties. The material was to cover all seams and imperfections and would provide a continuous, seamless and smooth texture.

+ -1 moreAll personnel were friendly, professional and made me feel at ease and confident of my choice of contractors.
Description of Work: Called the company to get a quote for granite overlay, Salesman Ron came over to discuss the job. I was very impressed with the products and the friendliness and professionalism. I signed the contract and they immediatly began the preliminary processes. The workmen arrived on time on both days and worked diligently. They were so friendly and answered all of my questions promptly.
