The repairman noted that the issue was with the breakers. He changed two breakers including the main breaker. He was friendly, on time and worked quicky. He explained the problem he found with the breakers. However, it is apparent that the breakers were not the problem as I'm still having the same issue.

An electrician came out to look at the job to give an estimate but, never received an estimate. I called a week later to follow up and to ask when would we be receiving an estimate but, they seemed to have excuses and said that it takes time and we are working on it. One month later, still no estimate. I don't think this is very professional to handle any business.

I could not have been more pleased. Ranken corrected a problem left by a handyman that claimed to be licensed. No one likes to clean up after someone else but Ranken did a great job as well as installed GFI outlets. They were very professional, qualified and courteous. I feel safe now. I would definitely hire them again.

Extremely satisfied with the service I received. I had lighting in almost every room of my house installed, including hallways and outdoors, as well as 2 ceiling fans. Brian was the employee who did the work. He worked very fast, was extremely polite and knowledgeable. He kept me abreast of every worst case scenario as he worked, although none of them occured, I did appreciate how well he communicated with me. I will definitely be calling them again when I need any electrical work done. PLUS a gift card to Dewars! They definitely get a 10 out of 10!

Electrician reset GFI and outlets worked. I didn’t know the GFI for my bathroom outlets was in my garage. Electrician said houses built in 90’s typically had this situation. His knowledge of older homes saved the day!

He was great. His quality was great, everything was fixed quickly. Yes, I would definitely use them again. They were very quick and efficient to identify the problem and resolve it.

The problem turned out to be a simple one. Power was reistablished with the single visit for the standard evaluation site visit charge.

The electrician was very professional and completed all the work as requested. He had to perform some additional work in the attic which took longer than he expected. However, everything looks great and works well without any issues. Additionally the lights we purchased were the wrong type and he gave us time to run to Home Depot to get replacements. The estimate was reasonable and they stood by their estimate. Our only complaint was that he left quite a mess in the closet and behind the washer/dryer in the laundry. Other than that, no complaints. Would definitely hire again.

The repair work was great. My only frustration began with a positive. They called and said someone could come out three days earlier. I agreed to meet the repairman at 2pm. However, at 12:15, I received a call from the office stating the repairman would be at my house in 10 minutes. After getting all of that cleared up, I met him at 2pm and all went well. The price for each light switch replacement was $30. I thought it was expensive, but maybe that is a normal rate. The work was excellent.

Rankin sent a technician out to walk the job, and a few days after I received an estimate by email. The same tech came out to perform the work, and he couldn't have been more professional or accommodating. We are extremely pleased with the decision to contact Rankin Electric.

This company is The Best! Their service people are workaholics! The do the work expertly and quickly!

If I could give a higher rating I would with "another star"! The work was performed perfectly. The price was reasonable and the service and attitude beyond expectation. They will be our go to team for sure.

He found the problem, safely and quickly, and swapped out the faulty plug. Everything worked afterward. Very pleased.

Read the positive reviews and requested an appointment (Sunday night). The owner emailed Monday morning and asked if I'd like to be scheduled same day (president's day). The office called and set up a time, and Joe arrived with a smile and his tools. He quickly did some trouble shooting, determined the problem, explained it to me in a way that I was able to understand, then proceeded to complete the project. Fast, friendly and reasonable. Highly recommended.

The light I purchased stop working. I contacted Rankin and they replaced the bad light quickly with no charge. Rankin responses quickly to Angie's List. The company is not great responding to telephone message. But they pleasant when you go the the office. They were early to all of the appoints: estimate, installation, and replacement.
