+ -1 moreThe price was a little exuberant, it was $90 an hour. We've never used anyone else. The service wasn't bad, the price is the only thing I had a problem with.

+ -1 moreI was extremely impressed by the honesty not only of Mr. McHenny, but his technician as well. Resolving the fan problem by closing a panel when I could have been charged for a "repair" was refreshing. This company is honest and professional and family run. They have and will continue to have my business and recommendation.
Description of Work: My air conditioner quit cooling and the system fan quit working so couldn't even recirculate air in our home. Had contact another A/C business which examined my system and gave me a quote of $8,000. I called McHenny's for another quote. The owner answered the call and I explained my problem and that I needed a quote for a new system. His first words to me were that we shouldn't be discussing a new system until we found out what was wrong. A tech came out, confirmed the compressor was shot then examined the system in the attic. He advised that the access panel to the equipment was open and that it had a cuttoff switch that cut power to the fan when it was open. He closed the panel and the fan worked fine. Ultimately McHenny's had to replace the compressor and add some additional equipment to accommodate the new compressor.
