Superior service from an expert: 1. Free estimate by phone-held good even after he found additional minor items to correct. [Hint: KEEP EVERY PART, even if they "fly off".] 2. Could not come the day I called due to holiday. 3. The day after, he called and scheduled his visit. 4. Arrived early, but only after calling to find out if convenient. 5. Repair conducted swiftly. [His advice do NOT use a mechanical "locking" pin because of how often people forget and then use opener--chaos ensues. He also explained and demonstrated PERIL of "self-repair" efforts (guilty as charged)--"you could have lost a hand and you increased cost of what I had to do. 6. Pointed out ALL THE STUFF I HAD CLOSE TO DOOR WHICH COULD DAMAGE DOOR, EVEN TO POINT OF REQUIRING TOTAL NEW INSTALL--I've done what he suggested, and will sleep better for it. 7. Gave safe advice re: safe security options (Sorry, I'm not telling, "security".) I would trust Joe to do any repair. Even though he is VERY BUSY. ["The good ones always are."]

Would have liked to wait for other bidders, but time did not permit. Though he came late, he did fixed the door ,was cheerful and helpful.

It was good. They gave me all the information that I needed. I didn't use them but they were readily available with the information that I was seeking. They answered all my questions. They gave the estimate on the spot.

My garage door stopped working. It took me a while to see that a hinge was broken. (I thought it was the garage door opener and after speaking with "GENIE" customer service..... I saw the broken hinge.) I logged onto Angies List and searched for garage door repair near me. JOS Overhead Door was extremely helpful over the phone. I sent him a picture of the broken hinge to make sure that when a service professional arrived, the door could be fixed. Oscar gave me a quote for replacing all my hinges which included servicing the door. Within 3 hours of discovering the broken door, it was repaired and serviced! Thanks to Angies List and JOS, my garage door was fixed amazingly fast!
