+ 8 moreFirst the bad then the good. 1. This project took almost 4 months. We were told a few weeks. 2. Communication between the office and workers needs a lot of work. 3. The estimates were confusing as were the details in the final bill. 4. Final touches were slow and I eventually finished the painting myself. 5. Lack of job oversight by the owner of this company. The good; 1. The mold/mitigation work was swift and well done. 2. Overall the finished product is good but for the price not perfect. I expected this to be wonderful and while I like it I don't love it. 3. We were so glad when it was done. 4. Love the shower tile and wood look floor tile. 5. Love the shower door but it isn't perfectly even.
Description of Work: Remodeled shower:cleaned up leak in bedroom sharing a small wall behind the toilet area with mold.The mitigation crew was fantastic. The remodel included removing a block window, tiling the floor, repairing a previously bad window installation (different company)and of course a new shower with tile from Stockdale Tile. We love the tile.

Description of Work: Removed tub/shower combination, constructed new tile shower enclosure with bench and frameless glass door. Upgraded bathroom lighting and installed new granite counter top. | |Upgraded kitchen lighting. | |We are very pleased with the result. The work took longer than we hoped, but JLH worked with us to minimize inconvenience. Delays were primarily caused by material availability and subcontractor scheduling.

+ -1 moreThey did a beautiful job. It took them eight months. They are a full-service construction company, and the rebuilding after the black mold was out was very good. They are an excellent construction company, and very professional. They specialize in insurance claims, and they were highly recommended by my insurance, which paid everything. I only had to pay the $50 deductible. I also paid for the shower and toilet.
Description of Work: JLH Construction did rebuilding work in our home that had been damaged by extensive black mold. They replaced the wall in the kitchen and painted it. They did remodeling of the bathroom. They had to remove two exterior walls all the way down to the studs and do reconstruction.
