Floyd's Heating & Air Conditioning

First of all I called someone else before I called Floyd's. They were confusing and I felt like they just wanted to make as much money as possible. Then I called Floyd's. What a difference. This is a small family firm here in Bakersfield and provide an excellent service to the community. I called them and Ken took his time on the phone with me. I explained my problems and concerns. He was very knowledgeable and I could tell just by talking to him he really knows his stuff. Him and his son Ryan came to my home and diagnosed the problem. Since my ac unit is old they explained to me my options and all were reasonably priced. We decided to fix our old ac unit. There was a leak a piece of the copper tubing. Ryan came out and fixed the part and replaced some other things at no additional charge as well as recharged my a/c unit with r22 refrigerant which was the most expensive item. Not their fault as this is not used in newer units and can only be used for the older units it just costs more. Also cleaned and serviced my unit. It felt like I was having a neighbor or good friend working on my unit. If you're having troubles with your a/c or heating unit do yourself a favor and at least give these guys a call.

He replaced the Belt, or so I was charged for the second time in 6 months. Normally this part goes bad every 2-5 years. But they missed the bearings that we beginning to make noise. The unit failed 3 months later. This is a 3 year old unit. I have never had to service any other unit in this manner.

Ryan and cousin Gary replaced existing hvac unit with new one. Consulting with Ken and Ryan was a pleasant, informative and positive experience. They explained everything in detail and didn't talk down to us. We feel they're honest, punctual and efficient at what they do. We recommend them highly.
