Fenceworks

After getting our permit, we sent them out our contract and check, which they cashed on November 18.  Waited and waited to hear back from them.  Never did, even after placing a few calls. Finally I was able to reach someone and they scheduled the work for mid December.  The day came and went and they did not show.  Called again, and they apologized and scheduled another day and time.  Again, they did not show at the time they said they would (9am).  I called and spoke again to the salesman and he said he would get the guys out by the end of the day.  Finally, they showed up around 4pm or so, they did the work.  Left a bit of a mess of concrete and mud around their worksite.  They did not leave a bill.  They emailed me a bill about two days later.   A couple of days after that I called to pay, but the person who took the payment wasn't available.  Eventually, through email, we scheduled a time to talk, when I called from work at the time we had scheduled, she was not available.  She called me back about an hour later, but I was not able to stop work to talk to her.  I emailed and asked if I could pay online.  They emailed me back and told me it was not a possibility.  Finally, I was able to reach them and pay - about 5 days after they did the work.  The card was declined because the credit card company thought it was a fraudulent charge.  They called me repeatedly for payment and I replied by email I would be in touch, but since they were only available during my workday, it wasn't that easy to find a time to call them.  That next day - about 8 days after they did the work and 6 days after I received the biill, I received an email from them threatening to lien our house.  I called during work and asked to speak to the person in charge because it was such a rude thing for them to do.  This jerk with the last name of Diamond, called me back and was the rudest person you can ever imagine.  I was done and told my husband to pay.  I posted a review of them on Yelp and Nextdoor and their response was to attack me personally and I think attempt to embarrass me by stating that my credit card was declined.  What a bunch of blowhards.  The response on Nextdoor to my review - which was simply a recommendation not to use them, no other details - was so over the top that I received many messages and emails from people regarding how insane they sound. Their field guys seem fine, but the back office and owners are really don't seem stable.  I strongly recommend going with a better and less expensive company that is happy to have your work and maintain good client relations.  
Note - the latch on the post they installed broke today.

Only fence company that called me back, from estimate to completion, they did what they said they would and no surprises.

The whole experience was awesome. They were very professional and had great follow up after the work was completed.
