Description of Work: Purchase and Installation of 4 Ton Seer American Standard w/2 stage Heating/Cooling and Variable Speed by Econo Air Inc. | |Concurrent installation with new roof by others. Roofer allowed a period of time that the new unit could be installed before the installation of the roof covering. Despite the opportunity , Econoair installed the unit after the roofer installed the roof covering. The new roof covering was damaged during the installation, fortunately, the roofer replaced the damaged roofing at no cost to me or Econoair. | |The Econoair Crane operator damaged the new roof and unit during installation, Crane operator left the premises without telling anybody about the damage. Brought this to the attention of the Econoair unit installers that called their supervisors. Subsequently the Crane operator returned and owned up to the damage and settled with the roofer to repair his damage. | |The Econoair non-disclosure was unsatisfactory regarding the crane roof damages and dent in the unit hitting the house while being raised to the roof for installation and roof covering damage during installation, as well as the denial of the knowledge of the incident at the time of occurrence by all. | |Econoair not present during the final city building inspector sign off of the permits. | |Unsatisfactory Transparency of the Warranty and dealer service after unit install completion. | |Would You Use this provider in the Future? + -1 moreI've never written a review before but felt like this was well earned and worth it. We have a two story home and two separate A/C units for each floor. Our upstairs unit had not been working as well as the down stairs unit, as in not putting out as much cold air. Monday evening we realized the temperature on the top floor kept rising and was not dropping. We contacted Econo Air after hours on their emergency line and our call was returned within 20-25 minutes by Jerry. Just through basic questions he gave told me he would have no problem coming out that night or he could come out the next day. My husband and I were worried about the cost of an emergency call and it was only $10 more then an appt made within normal hours. We had just been quoted ten minutes prior to that by another A/C company $257 just to come out to our house, not including parts and work done. Jerry made it to our home within the 20 minutes he said he would be there and started checking out everything right away. He explained everything that he was doing and showed my husband everything that he was looking at and finding as he went along. When all the work was completed, our A/C was working much better almost instantly and we still paid less then what we would've paid the other company just for showing up. We felt confident about the work that was completed and didn't feel like we were being overcharged or taken advantage of because it was an emergency call. We will definitely stick with Econo-Air for yearly maintenance also from now on. Jerry did a great job.

+ -1 moreEcono-Air does satisfactory work. They're not the cheapest, but they're not the most expensive either. I mainly use them because my wife and I have used them in the past, they are who we purchased our A/C unit from, and my wife has cainophobia.

+ -1 moreIt went quite well, they had to change some duct work, change out a drain pipe, and add a filter. To top it off they did some shingle work on the roof. The work was done in a day and no issues to date. All in all very pleased with the work.

+ -1 moreI receive a call from Econo Air around 8:20am. They told me that the price but that they would have to call me back with the time. They called later and gave me a time window when the repair guy could be back and that they would call me 30 min ahead to let me know he is coming. He came and got busy repairing the unit. When he was done he explained what he did to my husband and he showed him the bad part that he replaced. They were very professional and kind. I was very pleased with our service. Jerry was our repair man he was very knowledgable and answered all my husband questions. He was professional and friendly even in the 100+ degree heat. We will use them again if needed but hopefully we won't need to.
Description of Work: He came to check our air conditioning unit to access the problem to see if he could repair it. He got here at 7:30 pm after hours. and was here until after 9:00. He found what he thought was the problem but wanted a second opinion of his co worker and he needed the parts so he said he would have to come back tomorrow. He said that the office would call with a time and price in the morning.

Description of Work: The agent come to the house and measured and checked to make sure everything was in order. They ordered the insert and installed it. Took care of all the paper work, including the rebate from the Clean Air Agency. Very easy and no waiting. Very professional. Made a follow up call to see if everything was satisfactory.

gas grill repair
+ -1 moreMy husband and I recently moved to town and our normally reliable grill stopped working. I tried everything to fix it but to no avail. I called Econo Air and spoke with the manager. Normally, they only service grills that were purchased at their store but since I asked nicely he said he'd send a team out to take a look. The repair men found and repaired the defect in about three minutes. They were excellent.

Description of Work: I use Econo-Air every six months. In the fall they come out specifically to check the heating system or any other problems. In the spring they check the air conditioner.
