Description of Work: They replaced my garage door opener and the guy that did it knew what he was doing. No guessing. Did the work fast and clean. I would definitely use again and tell other people about them if I know someone is in need of work done!

+ -1 moreWhen I called Doormaster I was asked to explain my issue and was offered free DIY solution or service within the hour. Not having confidence in my DIY skills I opted for the service call. The service provider was at my home within the promised time frame. He was helpful and demonstrated how to fix the issue should it occur again to avoid further service fees. He went above and beyond adjusting the door. The company is honest and there was no push for unneeded services or parts. I will absolutely use them for any future garage door needs and refer them to friends.

Description of Work: The spring on my 20+ yr old lift up garage door had broken on a Saturday afternoon so called Doormaster right away. Expecting a recording, the call was picked up by a live person who graciously answered all of my questions. I did have to call back on Monday morning to set up a service date which was quickly handled. On the service date, all parts were on the truck and an experienced, ontime repairman were at my house to fix my garage door. I had elected to replace both springs but after installing the broken spring, the plate the second spring was attached to was cracked so no guarantee how long that would last. Discussed the cost differences of a new roll up door or fixing the old one ...decided to just replace the whole door. The replacement spring was left on my door so I could use it and in about a week I had my new insulated rollup garage door installed. Did have to have one small adjustment made after the fact but Doormaster again took care of it quickly and professionally. There is a reason this company has been in Bakersfield for so long....they are the Best!!. Thank you Doormaster!

+ -1 moreGreat experience. Call to the main office got me in touch w/ a very nice lady who listened to my description of the issue. Based on my description, she explained her diagnosis (which told me she knows her business!) and gave me a price which included parts and all labor, and was told the repair would take about an hour. I was given a choice of appointment times. I opted for a window for the next day, took a late lunch from work, the tech showed up on time, charged me the price I was quoted over the phone, and all this took about an hour. Also, something else that impressed me about the company: the tech took the time to explain the work that was done, showed me the old parts, and offered tips on door maintenance (where to lube, what to use). I would recommend Doormaster to a friend.
Description of Work: The main counterweight spring over the garage door broke. Spring had to replaced; cables had to be rewound, spring adjusted.

Description of Work: I first went to them because they had been in business in Bakersfield since 1942. They were friendly and informitive and told me that they could use my existing garage door opener. There was no pressure to purchase unneeded materials. They gave me a tentative quote of $645.00 non-insulated door and $845.00 for insulated. They came out and inspected the job and confirmed the $845.00 price for the insulated door.Their work was done timely and the quality of work excellent. I could have gotten the work done for less, but I didn't like the quality of the other doors.
