Description of Work: Installed new dishwasher and sink in new cabinets. There was an unnoticed leak in the drain connection to the dishwasher. Due to a different issue with the dishwasher we had them come out to remove the dishwasher so we could look at the problem, (which was not Benjamin Franklin's fault) when we discovered the plumbing leak. They stood by their work and put it together under their warranty.

Description of Work: Had the workman replace two faucets in the house, and a hose bib outside. because I supplied the faucets, their warranty was limited. Workman was also supposed to purge and service the water heater but he balked at it because of the brand (whirlpool)so we agreed he didn't have to perform this "free service". The rental management company called me a few days later to tell me they had had to send a plumber out to service the water heater, at a fee of $60.

we try to stay as far away from Whirlpool water heaters as we can! Consumer reviews lists thousands of complaints with these heaters from 2 days old and older showing they just will not stay working. We have found that the last guy to touch it usually gets blamed and this situation just confirms this. Has we offered the "free flush" on this heater we would have been blamed for the heater not working. We hope you were satisfied with the rest of the service call. Thank you for your business

Description of Work: Was not able to fix my shower from leaking. My husband ended up fixing it. The man came out to my house to fix it from leaking but couldn't get the knob off. He was afraid of breaking it. So my husband ended up taking it off. We ordered the parts from Moen and my husband fixed it. He was nice but I felt he was inexperienced!

Thank you very much for your business! I must say that we do install Badger 5 disposals rather than the standard 1/3 horsepower units so the cost is a little more. They seem to jam less often and last longer than the cheaper units.

Description of Work: Older water heater burst overnight. I checked Angie's list for a reference....and Benjamin Franklin had excellent grades. I called them at 10 a.m. and by 11:45 I had a new water heater installed! Plumber was honest about costs, and cost difference between his company and others. He explained what he would replace and the cost. He honored the 15% coupon. He cleaned up the water and checked the walls for damage. He carries a water heater and parts on the truck so it went very quickly. The cost of labor is slightly higher than other plumbers but his excellent, prompt work was well worth it.

the estimate included parts and labor, so i hired them. the guy who actually did the work was named Wade (great name for a plumber, don't you think? ) . When he got to the one with no shutoff, he hunted for an alternate way to shut off water to that source (i don't have a meter) to no avail, so he resolved the situation by lowering the water pressure : he prepped all the parts so that he could work fast, and then we turned on every faucet inside & out to lower the pressure - he then used a wrench to remove the old bibb, and in the ensuing drenching stream of water, he rapidly installed a shutoff valve and new bibb. this all took place in the span of 2-3 minutes. He was soaked to the skin, but he had accomplished the job in stellar fashion.
Description of Work: I have an older home (70+) and there were old faucets on the external water sources with really-hard-to-turn handles on them. One of them was not controlled by the whole house shutoff, so there was no way to turn the water off to that particular faucet. It leaked so severly that i did not use it unless i absolutely had to. I called this company to get an estimate to replace all the bibbs (i now know what they are called) .

A guy (the franchise owner, actually) came out and gave me an estimate, and then called his plumber out the same afternoon to do the job. Top-notch all the way, looks great, and though the plumber could have benefited from a shop-vac to clean up the area, he pretty much picked up everything except the dust. The hose bib was exactly the way I wanted it, and I am very happy with Benjamin Franklin Plumbing -- so much so that I joined their Ben's Club, which for an annual membership gets me 15% off all services and a complete home plumbing inspection and water heater service yearly, among other things. The 15% off this visit pretty much paid for the annual fee. Check out their great website www.benfranklinplumbing.com. I can recommend Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for a fine plumbing experience!
Description of Work: I wanted a hose bib installed outside my residence where there was not one previously. They ran a water line from the hose above my water heater in the garage, down the interior wall, and out through a hole to the outside where they attached the faucet.
