+ 0 moreBucks serviced my pond and after seeing the beautiful ponds they built on their property I hired them to remodel mine. Once finished my liner showed and soil erosion would leak into pond from the rain and sprinklers. After complaining profusely they would say they’d fix it but it’s not. My son and I’m have to do this. Furthermore because the dirt went into the pond the water became very unhealthy for the fish and Bucks wouldn’t change it out. I started with nine koi and ended with three sick koi. I would beg the manager to help me with the health and got nowhere. Finally Bucks quit. I have had to fix their mess and my fish (one just had hook worm).

+ 3 moreInstall process was a little longer than initially expected . Isiah and Adrian were great! We are very happy with our new water feature . Kids love it. We sit outside almost every night and enjoy the relaxing sound of the waterfall.

Description of Work: We contacted Bucks for a quote on a pond-less waterfall installation. Micheal came out and gave us a very reasonable estimate. Once given the go ahead, their crew came out and completed the project. It is exactly what we wanted and absolutely beautiful! We have called Micheal several times on other landscaping issues and he has been quickly responsive and always a professional. I would recommend them to anyone looking for landscape services.

+ -1 moreWe needed some colored gravel to update the landscaping at our Kern City home. They had what we wanted and delivered 3 yards the same day. We're very happy with that. However, the sprinkler contractor they called out for us took a look at the work we needed, said he could definitely get it done, and offered to go to our other house to give us a quote for sprinkler work there. We never heard back from him. Bucks needs to be careful to refer only contractors who are willing to follow through with quotes and work, and this is why I gave them a B instead of an A.
Description of Work: Very happy with the landscape material they delivered, but the sprinkler contractor who came out to quote on some work never got back to us.

+ -1 moreThey are very informative, creative, and eager for business. They called me after a detailed estimate was sent and I told them I was going to make a decision within the next week. I chose another vendor (simply based on price) and they called a couple of weeks later as a follow up and I told them I had chosen someone else and they were very understanding. I told them I would give them a strong recommendation on Angie's List and hopefully those looking for landscaping in the Bakersfield area will give them a chance. They are ready to work and want to work.
Description of Work: I had called 3 companies for an estimate. Buck's was very accommodating for scheduling an estimate. They were punctual and very pleasant to talk to. They were very informative regarding different options for landscaping the backyard. They were going to do the curbing along with the landscaping whereby the other 2 companies were having me deal with a independent concrete contractor which is acceptable except that this was a rental house and I would have to come back to arrange for these concrete contractors to do these estimates. In addition, Buck's would accept a credit card which I prefer because if something goes wrong you can always use the credit card company as recourse. Their estimate was on the lower mid range of the 3 estimates. I opted for the lowest estimate which was the right choice. However; if Buck's could have been closer to lowest estimate I would have chosen Buck's. They tried but they were not close enough to the lowest estimate to where I would be comfortable to forfeit the other vendor. They provided a punctual and very detailed estimate.

+ -1 moreAs stated above, the service has been consistently excellent. We tried other services before Buck's, but none came close to that provided by Buck's.
Description of Work: The service date and the amount listed is inaccurate. We use Buck's on a continuous service basis. We have used Buck's for pond maintenance for probably more than 5 years. We pay $90 per month plus the cost of any additional chemicals or mechanical items needed. The extras are not regular, so that most of the time the monthly bill is the base amount of $90. The service is consistently excellent. Response times when we have called because of trouble has been excellent. We most highly recommend Buck's.
