BSW worked like a well-oiled machine! They were in and out in a phenomenally short time. They were professional, neat, helpful, and responsive to my needs. They kept me informed and showed me each item that wasn't included in the original bid that was required to be done. I was impressed with BSW from the beginning of the bid process. I got 3 bids and chose them after careful consideration. They were very close to the other bidders, but were more informed on the patio work that needed to be done. They had in-house carpenters that would be able to do the work. The roof and patio look fantastic, and I am very pleased!!!!!! Great job, and I'm thrilled with their work.

I spoke to Guillermo on the phone and requested an estimate. He stated he could do the estimate the next day. When he arrived, he immediately inspected the roof and the room where the water damage occurred. He explained what they would have to do to identify the leaks and fix the problem. Stated that they could begin immediately and finish the next day. I signed the estimate and he immediately telephoned other workers and set them to work on the problem. Within a short time, he and the two other employees had identified the source of the leaks and begun the repairs. Not only did Guillermo supervise the work but he also obtained the supplies needed, i.e. sheet metal, felt and replacement tiles. The employees returned the next day and completed the job and re-tested for leaks. Not finding any, they set about cleaning the site. I found Guillermo and his two subordinates to be professional and thoroughly competent. I would not hesitate to use BSW Roofing for any of my future needs.

A very positie experience, I highly recommend BSW Roofing. I chose BSW after getting an estimate from an economy roofer who had a reputation for not showing up and completing work in a timely manner. You can't mess around with something like a roof, in my opinion. BSW's price was only slightly higher than the "economy" guy. They installed my roof in 2 and 1/2 days, were efficient and cleaned up after each day. All in all a very good experience. I selected GAF HD shingles, which cost a little more, but look awesome. Additionally, BSW is a contractor for the state of California's "California First" program, which lets you finance all or part of the roof (I did half) and have it applied to your property tax bill. Additionally, when it was discovered that the builders of my home took a shortcut and did not properly install my kitchen lighting fixture, which came loose during the roof install, BSW not only repaired it, but installed the support beam that the original builders neglected to do, ensuring that the ceiling fixture will never be knocked loose again. Great customer service. My BSW rep Jerry Ennis kept in contact throughout the entire process and was very accessible. A very good roofing company that rightly has a reputation as the best in Bakersfield.

Our experience was fantastic.... well, there was a slight hiccup on the first day, but that misunderstanding was taken care of immediately by one of the owners, Mr. Ernie Montoya. Our sales person and project manager was THE BEST EVER! His name is Mr. Jerry Ennis, and his expertise, his dedication to the project, and his thorough explanation of the process was top notch from beginning to end! He worked hard to make sure we were satisfied customers, and we definitely are satisfied. The guys who tore the old roof off were fast and and professional. The guys who put the aluminum covered plywood on and then the shingles were fast and professional. The clean up each day was UNBELIEVABLY GREAT! The assigned ' detail ' guy was professional and very helpful. And, as mentioned, Jerry Ennis ROCKED! The only hiccup came from the guy who has the materials delivered.... but Mr Montoya was helpful in getting that taken care of. We would recommend BSW to anyone interested in having a PROFESSIONAL JOB done when roofing their home. True, they were our most expensive quote, but we decided that 75 years in business meant they weren't a' fly-by-night' company. We would most certainly recommend Jerry Ennis and the crew who performed their duties magnificently on our home. Mr. Ennis has been in the roofing business for nearly 40 years, and he knows all the requirements and building codes forwards and backwards. Mr. Ennis made the project pleasant for us, and we are grateful to Mr. Montoya for hearing our concerns and handling it immediately. We tip our hats to you guys! Thank YOU!!!!!

Took a little longer than expected. With roof off and only felt on plywood. We had first rain in nearly a year. Rain came into house and left water spots on ceiling. They took out wet insulation and will paint ceiling. Over all it was very good experience. Wouldn't want it to rain next time, if there is a next time.

BSW delivered what was promised in both the quality materials and craftsmanship. All employees were punctual, very cordial and wore company attire so it was easy to identify from other contractors while work was being completed.

I contacted BSW in October after checking out reviews on Angies List for roofing contractors. Evan Juline inspected my 2 story roof home and gave me an proposal that included removing old roof, install insulation, radiant barrier roof sheeting and lifetime warranty Gaf shingles. The job started on October 23rd with the removal of the old roof and was completed the job on October 30th. I was very impressed by the way they cleaned up every evening before they left. The workers were very courteous, efficient and I will use them again if the need arises.

BSW did a wonderful job on our roof! We do most of our own repairs and upgrades but thought it would be best to hire a pro for our roof. This was a large investment and actually the first time we had hired a contractor but BSW made the process easy and painless. Every employee was easy to talk to and knowledgable about any questions I had along the way, they showed up on time and cleaned up at the end of every day. As far as craftsmanship- the roof looks great and with BSW's reputation (I think they have been In business around 70 years) I'm sure it will stand the test of time. Everything went very well. They was also on time & work very hard. They said they would have my roofs done in 4-5 days. They started Tuesday at 12:30pm and finished on Friday at 5pm. All I have to say is a job well done.

on day one, the clean up off the old wood roof I was truly surprised. You would not have thought that the roofers had done any work, the clean up was excellent and the roof was done in about 4 days. The roofer are professional and my home looks great. Excellent job overall..

Job well done from a ground level perspective; I have not been on the roof. Promised installation maximum duration was four to five days; completed in three. Roof stripped in the first half-day; the next steps were only slowed by required city inspections. Coverage of objects in garage to protect from dust was very good. Minor problem when the garage door light and overhead garage light coincidentally stopped working . They apparently simply replaced the bulbs and things were fine. Clean up was good. Some miscommunication about keeping old roof turbines and I thought that I was getting the Cobra attic ventilation but was not. Good responsiveness to messages via Angie's list. I would have preferred to have an itemized receipt to see the breakdown of labor and materials and enumeration of the warranty. BSW is obviously a family-run business and the employees are very dedicated. Ron, David, Victor, and Jerry were good about keeping me apprised of progress. Guillermo was helpful in suggesting that before the end of the 10-year non-prorated coverage I should have them come out for an inspection to see if anything needed fixing. Rony was informative about marketing media, the history of BSW, and its relationship with Angie's list. I have good confidence in their work, reputation, and value.

What a nice experience. Professional job from start to finish. Roof looks beautiful and we already feel the difference in cooling. I highly recommend this firm and would use them again in a heart beat.

BSW started the removal of the roof on the date as promised. One week into the project we noticed there were some tile sprinkled on our roof that were different than the ones we selected. We immediately contacted the project manager Guillermo Murillo who assured us he would take care of the problem. Early the next morning he was on our roof removing all the said tiles and replacing with correct tiles. Upon further investigation it was learned that the different tiles were the tile manufacturers' malfunctioning machine. All work that was promised was completed to my satisfaction.

Guillermo is the best! He was there at each step to guarantee that we got everything we wanted and were completely satisfied. They explained exactly what they were going to do, and God Bless Them, they did it. The workers were neat, efficient, polite and fast! They took special care to clean every day and were obsessive about leaving nothing to chance. If BSW is pricey, it's only because you get what you pay for, and these people cut no corners. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Very happy with the entire process and professionalism.

I used this company because of their good reviews. I live outside the area. When I visited the property recently, I inspected their work. It seemed to be of good quality and I could see the other areas of the roof that they repaired, but I couldn't tell what they had done to repair the area that had the roof leak. Inside, I could see evidence that the original leak had gotten much worse. I don't know if it occurred before their repair or after, and since I could not tell what they done to repair the area in question, I was concerned. I called Guillermo and he went out again and checked things out and assured me that all is good. I have a tenant moving in shortly and we will know quickly if all is good or if there is a problem. I downgraded their rating to a B overall, because I'm not sure. I've been on a few roof in my lifetime, but am not an expert. If the roof leaks, I will not be happy and will downgrade their rating to a D, but if the roof is good, I will upgrade to an A!

We decided to get the BSW Roofing Services because of the professionalism of their project manager Mr. Jerry Ennis. We saw their ad on one of the magazines and gave them a call. Mr. Ennis visited us and he came prepared with the aerial photograph of our roof with some notes on it already. He went up the roof and did some site verification. He then discussed with us the possibilities and costs of the roofing project should we end up getting their services. What we like were the written descriptions and estimates of the options we have. Also, Mr. Ennis explained the applicable building codes that are in effect and the future codes that will be enforced in the future. The work was done on time. They have a happy group of workers; my husband heard them singing while working! They must be working for a good company, we surmised. We did not put a grade on the 'quality' rating because we believe that it will take a few seasons to test the quality of a roofing project. For aesthetic appeal, we had a few of our neighbors and house guests who gave positive comments on our roof. The overall experience we had with Mr. Ennis, the workers, and the company is 'A'!

We are very happy with our new middle grad composite roof. It has almost been I year and it looks great. They did the job on time, and were very friendly. Highly recommend.

They were very professional and reasonable. We will definitely be using them to replace the roof soon.
