BOUNTIFUL BLINDS

Description of Work: We bought a new home last year and the builder/developer' representative recommeded this company for shutters. We met with him and he told us if we paid in full, he would give us a 20% discount. We paid him $7,500.00 and he took the money and paid his own personal bills with it. After waiting three months for install, and then being told he would have to reorder, we waited again, only to finally be told that our order would not be coming EVER. We have been chasing him and threatening him for almost one full year and have not received all of our money back from him. He has admitted taking the money. He has admitted not ever ordering our product. He has admitted spending the money on his own bills. We filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and after many months of him promising to make payments through them, and then NOT doing it, they have closed our case and labelled it: Unresolved. They have told us they are removing his BBB Accreditation for violating his agreement to arbitration. As of 09/29/11 their BBB rating has not changed. I have become aware of others that have been ripped off, in a similar manner as we were and those folks are preparing class action law suit. This man has taken payment in full, from serveral unsuspecting consumers, spent their money on his own bills and then just refused to pay them back. He has never apologized to anyone. He acts like he has no understanding of what he has done wrong. The man, Ray Bartnicke and his wife Karen Bartnicke are criminals and if we were younger and in better health, we would have taken him to court and put him in jail where he belongs. S. Y.
