I bought a Whirlpool dishwasher from Urners. After one year and four months, it was running, but the wash cycle didn't stop...it was still going after two hours. I called Urners, they didn't seem to want to fix it (see Urners review). I called another repair co., and the repairman thought it would take longer to see what was wrong with it than it was worth it, so he recommended i buy my new dishwasher at Bob Johnson's Appliances. When i went to Bob Johnson's to purchase a new dishwasher, I told the salesperson what was happening. She suggested I have their repairman check it out before i buy a new dishwasher. . When the repairman arrived, he easily checked the cycles (by pushing the start buttons and opening the dishwasher intermittently to feel the water temp) and said that everything appears to be working. He was here maybe 20 - 30 minutes. He recommended I get a product called LemiShine for dishwashers. He suspected there was hard water build up that was preventing the cycles to finish. He told me to run several dishwashing cycles with a lot of LemiShine and see what happens. I ran the cycles, had to stop the wash cycle (since it didn't stop on its own) after 2 hours. I did it 3 times. Then the forth time, the cycle completed by itself (within one hour), so the problem was solved. This was great news because i wasn't looking forward to buying a new dishwasher. By the way, while I was at Bob Johnson's Appliances, i noticed their prices were really reasonable and the salesperson was very helpful. They charge half the delivery charge that Urners did to install a dishwasher. Bob Johnson's appliances was totally an unexpected delightful experience. I wholeheartedly recommend their products and services to anyone looking for appliances or appliance repair.
