He was neat and presentable, I was looking forward to having him install the cameras and the related accessories, whose specs I showed him from the dealer's website printout. I am very disappointed that he has refused to follow-up with a phone call or by e-mail, so I am left with my own speculations as to why there has been no further contact. I am further dismayed that I was waiting around for a follow-up contact from him, when he knew, at least after my last phone message, that he planned to just continue to ignore the situation. This waiting for no reason has been a huge waste of my time. If I had known two weeks ago that he had no intention of providing the service that he had offered in the way that I had requested, I could have contacted another company and may have had my cameras installed by now.
Description of Work: The initial response from this company was that his time constraints left him with an 8:00-8:15 AM appointment only! He arrived at 8:40 and suddenly had all of the time in the world. He said he would take some pictures of the exterior, (reason unknown), insisted upon placement of the surveillance cameras in places that would not begin to cover what was required, and had to come into the house to see the location of the desktop computer. Again there was no explanation as to why we were in my office. He only kept complaining, on the one hand, that the sturdiness of the ceiling may cause him a problem, while on the other hand felt it necessary to claim some recognition of "water damage" to the ceiling. This "damage" were the remains of a child's poster or other display that was still clinging to a part of the ceiling. There is no water damage. I had previously explained that the camera wiring would be from the attic, so there was no need for him to see any of the interior except if and when he planned to enter into the attic. Before leaving he offered to design a "package" that would list some less expensive cameras than the ones I had shown him. The next day I called, and advised his answering machine that I wanted full coverage of my property and added exactly where I wanted the cameras placed in order to accomplish this. I added that I would need to have access to the specifications of any cameras and related equipment that he would find to install in my home. Needless to say, I have not heard from him since. I think that this job was beyond his level of expertise, and he should have said so, or else he was trying to get by with earning the most while doing the least plus palming off substandard materials, and that was not about to happen at all! This report should be in the following section, as no actual service was performed. This would be considered as a consultation that was ineffectual.

Sad, this member seem to have a habit of just writing bad reviews. Lets complete the picture and tell the whole story... This house was built pre-1956 like 1920'or 30s. It has knob and tube wiring and had clear signs of water damage. (I still have the pictures). We always take pictures prior to retrofit jobs as most trade organizations and reputable company's do. We have been doing security cameras for 10 years and have 18 years of construction experience.. And she was told by someone on the "internet" that the cameras she wanted could see 360*. NOT TRUE. Some of the locations were not possible to get to or to wire. But after we made an assessment and decided on proper locations I received a call informing me that the locations she and her daughter wanted are where they should go. Some of which were not possible with the budget she provided. So we decided that it would be best if she looked else where for help with her "Internet provided" CCTV system as she was not looking for an "expert" but rather a handyman. As far as time goes we are a very busy shop and apologize for any inconvenience. But we make 1 hour window appointments and has always been our policy. It seems that her memory is relegated to what she wants it to be. When on site we never rush our clients or potential clients when walking through. So yes I did have "all the time in the world" We have been in business for 10 years and work with some of the premier homes in Bakersfield. We have received awards for our work as well as featured.Some clients have been with us for the full 10 years. Some clients are just not at fit for you and sorry to say that (removed member name) does not fit us. For that I apologize. Unfortunately if I were to give here a customer rating it would be an F.
