We had Bakersfield Patio Covers come to our home to install solar screens a few years ago after our daughter and son-in-law had them build a patio cover and install rain gutters at their home. We were now needing new rain gutters installed and thought of Bakersfield Patio Covers. They are awesome people to work with. Very professional, customer oriented, and reliable! My mother has had them install rain gutters as well as my sister and brother-in-law. All of us have had a really good experience with this company! I definitely recommend them!

This is the second time we used Outdoor Creations on a major project, and they didn't disappoint. I trust them with all my fence work. They have done brick walls, wood fencing, and dirt work for us. We have a bid for a new stucco wall, which we will have done by OC as soon as we save up the money. Costs a little more, but you get what you pay for. I recommend OC.
Description of Work: Tore out metal railing, replaced with wood fence and double gate; coordinated concrete demo and repour.

It was a very good experience and they are our neighbors. They were very professional and very good at getting it done quickly. We did not have any hassle with anything. They did it all the way that they should have and the quality of their work was excellent.

Backyard Creations contractor and owner, James Blowers, was an excellent choice in fencing. He was professional with pictures of past projects, competitive pricing and excellent quality of wood and workmanship. The redwood fencing was top of the line. The steel posts were drilled deep into the ground and secured with cement. The side boards were termite resistant and the fence was level. The redwood fence is beautiful and all my neighbors came out to say that James Blowers of Backyard Creations did an outstanding job. I highly recommend James Blowers for any project. He is a winner!

Description of Work: Did not show up at appointment time. Called and said was going to be hour and half late and wanted to come at 8:00pm at night. This was inconvenient for us, and we asked himto reschedule. He was rather upset and said he would call the next day. He did not.

Description of Work: I got just an estimate and decided to go with Mike's fencing instead as he seemed just as experienced and was lower in price. James (Backyard Creations) responded immediately and was very professional. I would probably have gone with him if I wanted it to be really long-lasting but since I am 75 I didn't need it to last for many many years.

Owner and workers showed up on specified date and time; promptly went to work on removal of old wood fencing. Owner contacted all affected neighbors, insuring they were aware and agreeable to the new fencing and containment of their dogs. New fencing went up in 3 stages, each completed by end of day. Gates and locking latches installed. Free followup to repair one non-working landscape light (bulb had fallen out) and to install (free gratis) an ornamental plaque safely on the new fence. Payment was $100 down at signing of contract, half of remaing total when work started and remainging amount upon satisfied completion of entire job.
Description of Work: Removal of old wood fencing & gates; installation of 6-foot high white vinyl fencing & locking gates (2) around perimeter of backyard.

I AM VERY HAPPY WITH THE WORK, THE PRODUCTS, AND THE SERVICE.
Description of Work: BACKYARD CREATIONS REMOVED OUR EXISTING WOOD FENCE AND REPLACED IT WITH TOP QUALITY REDWOOD WITH STEEL POSTS AND 24" CONCRETE FOOTERS. JAMES CREATED A BEAUTIFUL GATE THAT OPENS AND CLOSES WITH A TOUCH. OUR PROERTY IS NOT LEVEL, BUT HE LEVELED THE FENCE WITH KICKER BOARDS. THE FENCE IS BRILLIANT. ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOUSE, HE REMOVED THE EXISTING WOOD FENCE AND REPLACED IT WITH A BLOCK WALL. WE HAVE ONE OF THE HOUSES ALONG THE NEW SOUND WALL ON 178 BETWEEN OSWELL AND FAIRFAX, AND HE MATCHED THE SOUND WALL BEAUTIFULLY. THE WALL WAS ALSO ON UNEVEN GROUND, BUT JAMES LEVELED IT WITH APPRORIATE FOOTERS. JAMES WAS IN CONSTANT CONTACT ADVISING US OF PROGRESS AND DELAYS DUE TO RAIN. JAMES WAS A LITTLE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN SOME OTHER BIDS, BUT HIS MATERIALS WERE TOP OF THE LINE, AND THE WORKMANSHIP IS IMPRESSIVE. I AM SO HAPPY WITH HIS WORK I WOULD HAVE PAID MORE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BACKYARD CREATIONS FOR WOOD FENCING AND BLOCK WALLS.
