bathtub refinishing
+ -1 moreHorrible! Problems were noticed when it was first done and he said it would smooth out as it dried. It didn't! Large drips in one tub, incomplete coverage in another...2 tubs' finish came off with the vacuum brush before they were even used! Dirt, chips, flaking - my grandson even scratched himself on debris that was left in the finish. That was the only time that tub was used. He was to return and finish and had an appointment scheduled, but after I told him there were problems he never showed up and wouldn't answer my phone calls. I tried a registered letter but it came back. I have found 3 different addresses for him. A total waste of $1500.00. Never, NEVER use this guy!!

Description of Work: Bakersfield Bathtub Reglazing was supposed to re-glaze a bathtub and tile in one bathroom and re-glaze a shower pan, repair damaged grout and install a sliding shower door in another bathroom. The contractor (Nathan) missed two appointments and called at the last minute with excuses due to a funeral and diabetes. When a price was agreed upon, work was delayed three times due to reglazing product not available (Contractor blamed UPS for not shipping). The contractor said he was going to perform the work himself, yet had two young men show up with him. The job was horrible and Nathan had to come back over three times to fix it. My advise is to run, not walk away from this company. The price is lower because they don't use etching cream or clean up all debris from sanding and take short cuts in order to finish job quickly.
