I would use Bill again in a hearbeat. It was not the typical remodel nightmare you hear of. He made it so easy for us. It took just a tiny bit longer than expected due to a minor change needed in the shower door, but otherwise, so smooth. Every single contractor was arranged right after another, so there wasn't much wasted time at all. He always called me, (the woman of the house!) so that there was never a question of exactly how "we" wanted it to be. We celebrated at the end of the job with a cocktail, and a promise to use him for our next remodeling job in the future!
Description of Work: We recently had Bill remodel our master bathroom for us. We have always done our own demo, and finding sub contractors etc,for other rooms, but decided to treat ourselves and hand it over to someone else to manage. We were so pleased with Bill from the beginning. We attached a couple other "side projects" to the job so that when the drywaller was out, everything that needed drywall attention in the house would be done at the same time. This made the job not just the bathroom, but elsewhere in the house too. He gave us a fair bid, he always showed up when he said he would. Any time I called him, he either answered his phone, or called back as soon as he could, which was always, same day. Every single sub-contractor he used was a great guy, from the drywaller ( a real specialist!!), to the electrician, the painters, plumber, they were all clean, neat, and nice people. Every single one left the job tidy, and came when promised. I had picked the corian people ahead of time, due to their experience with seamless showers. Although he had never worked directly with them previously, they worked very well together, and made the beautiful shower happen. One part of the job was a repair of a rather large ceiling crack in the kitchen/family room due to a poor finishing job by a prior contractor. Bill Kavanagh and Darrell (the drywaller) spent quite a bit of time checking to be sure the crack was just a superficial cosmetic crack, but went way above and beyond, in stabilizing the drywall and supports to prevent any chance of repeat cracking. I can't say enough about what a good job was done. As luck would have it, one component of the bathroom heat/fan/light went out after completion of the job. (The heat part of the unit), and within one day, he had the electrician back out, armed with a replacement if needed to take care of the problem. That is great service!
