I wish I could give them a negative star. Horrible customer service. Completely incompetent service technicians.
Description of Work: Diagnosed a power sprayer and quoted me more to fix it than the product cost to begin with $300 to fix a $160 item

They send it out for sharpening so you pay twice and i was surprised at the cost. People there are very nice and when I ask anyone around Auburn and Colfax where to take things for small engine repair they say Sierra.

I have a Cub Cadet riding lawn mower under warranty. It wouldn't start, so I changed the battery. That didn't work, so I called Home Depot who was good about having it picked up and delivered to Sierra Saw for service and repair. They had it 6 weeks, with me calling every week, before they even looked at it. Every time I called, they would tell me "you're the next one up." But then nobody would look at it. So I told them to deliver it back so I could take it to someone else. They set up a delivery time, but they didn't show. I called them only to be told that they forgot to deliver it but that they could look at it next week. Home Depot said they couldn't take it anywhere else, so I told Sierra Saw to fix it. I told them from the beginning when they originally picked up the mower that I also wanted the blades sharpened and the flat tire fixed. So seven weeks into it, with my grass now three feet tall, they called and said that I put in the wrong battery. Couldn't they have told me that on day one? So then it took them two more weeks to replace the battery and sharpen the blades. They were again supposed to deliver it but again did not. I called and they said they forgot. Again. Then they noticed that I wanted the tire fixed (I've reminded them of this weekly for 7 weeks). But they couldn't fix it and had to order a new one. (Why didn't they order it 8 weeks ago?) A week later, the tire was still not there. So they delivered the lawn mower back to me with the old tire. Now my grass is 4 feet tall. (By the way, I've told them mutliple times that we live in rattle snake country.) A week later, they call me and say the tire is there and do I want to pick it up? Well, I had already paid them for the tire and the installation of the tire. So now I have to figure out how to jack this thing up and take the tire off and take it in to them to change the tire. Their attitude the whole time was that this was the standard of care in the community. If they've been in business since 1972, they must be the only lawn mower repair place withint a thousand miles because that's how far I'll drive to take my mower the next time it needs service. And $275 to change a battery, sharpen blades, and fail to change the tire? Seriously.
Description of Work: Pick up, deliver, and repair of Cub Cadet riding mower. Sharpen blades. Change tire.
