Dana Colleen Anderson was absolutely the perfect realtor for me from our very first meeting. I interviewed several realtors and Dana stood out far and above the others. She is a listener and and understood very quickly what I was looking for, but continued to work hard to refine that understanding with every house we saw. My job keeps me pretty busy and I felt completely comfortable letting her do the leg work looking at houses and letting me know if there was something I should look at. I trusted her completely. She is patient and does not believe one should compromise one's dreams. I asked my Lyon agent in Davis (an old friend who had helped me buy my previous house) to recommend an Auburn area agent for me and she suggested Laurie Whitton. Laurie and I must have looked at more than 40 houses during my three month search for country property. When the perfect place appeared on the MLS, Laurie was able to get me in to see it the first day it was on the market and I made an offer. The property was a short sale and I was willing to bid about $60,000 above the asking price to get it, but Laurie told me "Don't do it!." She was able to structure the offer in a way that got me the property, saved me a bundle of money, and cut significantly into her own commission. Dealing with banks in a short sale is a nerve-wracking ordeal that would have sent me over the edge without Laurie's expert help and guidance. Throughout it all, Laurie was knowledgeable and very, very professional. I have dealt with many real estate personnel over the years and I know how hard it is to find one who you can trust with the most important asset you will ever own. Laurie is one of the best there is.
