Called him for estimate on excavation work because I found him here on Angie's List, plus online review with Google indicated that he served Sacramento County. However, when he called and we started discussing the project, he said he wouldn't come out for an estimate and that ended our conversation. Just updating information for Angie's List

Adam did not follow the plans and when I asked him about it he said to not worry about the steepness of the road. (At one point in the switchback it was nearly 30 degrees. He also did not build proper ditches on either side of the road. He did line the substandard ditches with rock to make them look like they were done properly. When I told him I needed him to fix the problems, he scraped all the rock off the steepest portion of the road just before rainy season and told me to sign off the stuff he neglected to do, or he would leave me with a useless road while I was building my house. I refused to allow him to walk away from his shoddy work, so he left me with a useless road which caused great financial hardship and made it nearly impossible to get my house finished during the winter months. We ended up tapping his bond (which came nowhere near the impact he made on us) and then won in a arbitration with the State Contractors Licensing Board.
