TRI COUNTY FLOORING

Description of Work: We needed to replace the old linoleum in our kitchen, dining room, laundry room and bathroom. I thought I knew what I wanted, but had some concerns about the logistics of it all.

Description of Work: Stretch Carpet

Description of Work: New wall to wall carpet. We shopped around for several weeks at various carpet shops. We visited TriCounty Flooring almost by chance. However, we were immediately impressed as we entered the store. Displays of all sorts of flooring were easily visible and we noted the lack of clutter we had experienced elsewhere. The sales person was more than willing to show us several types and grades of carpeting, and there was never any of the 'pushing' we had sometimes experienced at other locations. We were provided samples to take home, a very helpful item. We called in our selection, and made arrangements for the installation date and other needed actions. One of those actions was to go to the store to pay down one half of the cost. Our original sales person was not there; however, the salesperson present was every bit as helpful and we were able to continue planning. On installation day, there was what could have been a major glitch. The work crew was scheduled to be here at 8AM. At approxiamately 8:45AM, no crew had appeared or called us. We called the store and were told that the installers were enroute to another job in Modesto and would be at our place at 4 PM; shortly thereafter, we got a call from the installer who said the same thing. That was not going to work for us. As Iwas about to call the store, the manager called us and said that the installers were being turned around and would be here before 11 AM. And so it was. The Manager arrived with the installer. and the job instantly was underway. The installer, was the most efficient installer I have ever seen, with a great attitude. Very different from our sometime ago experiences with installers at a business the adjacent to our store. We were extremely pleased with the job overall. The top to bottom store teamwork was unusally impressive.
