Great job! Prompt service, very courteous.

I was very happy with the work that was done. There were some drip stains on a fascia board that was most likely the result of dirty water that had dripped out when they replaced a corner piece of a gutter. They were willing to come back out and clean up the drip stains and they didn't make me feel bad about asking them to do it. Every person that I spoke and met with were very professional and friendly.

Things were pretty good. Got an estimate within a day or two, and they were able to install within a 10 day window (they actually came out within 6 days). Prompt responses. Just two complaints: 1) They had to move a cable off of the eave and they didn't replace it. It's on the second story and I don't have a ladder to go up there and fix it, so it just flops around there in the wind and looks stupid. 2) When the wind blows a good bit down the side of the house, the gutters and downspout tend to groan. Not sure if this is because of the design, or poor installation.

From the reviews, sounds like the provider probably does good work but it's unfortunate that during this busy El Nino season they haven't been able to handle communications with me effectively from initial contact through actually performing the services. Dedicating one or more staff to handle back and forth communications including price negotiations on a consistent basis is what I think the provider needs. Again, sounds like they do good work but my experience with back and forth communications was not good.

This is the third company I have called to do work and the second one to not even give me a call back. This is just not professional. I called the Los Osos number, spoke to the female who answered the call, left a message and callback number and never received a call back. If someone is too busy to do the job, great, maybe I can wait, but to not even give me a call back is just not acceptable.

Excellent customer service!

We have noted that the gutters leak badly from every right-angle joint. They were installed with no overlap, leaving huge gaps in the joints. More water comes out of those joints than from the downspouts. The quality of the installation is obviously very poor. All our neighbors have the same problem. We would never consider using Five-Star for any gutter installation or repair.

Installed new gutter. Job became somewhat complicated by the discovery that adjacent roof area needed repair. 5 Star and Central Coast coordinated their work schedules and both companies kept me advised of progress. Both companies a "solid 10." Nothing amiss. Cleaned up after each job. Quality job and men of their word.

They were tremendous. They were on time. They came under my budget. They were just really nice guy. We were very happy with them. I was very pleased. They did a really nice job, they did match the color of the house. Every time you call them they were here. They were very professional. I recommend them to anyone.

I had an appointment that morning so I said hello and goodbye. When I got home after lunch, they job was complete. They left the area completely clean. Looked great and works great.

We were told the work would be on Nov. 14 beginning at 10:00 a.m. By noon, no one had arrived. I called the office and talked to Melissa who told me they got a late start and they would be there. No one came that day and there was no call from the crew. I called again and was told they would come the following day. They did show but could not finish the job because they neglected to bring an additional part. Earlier I was told they cut the material on site and there would be no problem. We had to wait another week for someone to return and finish the job. The job itself was done fine and I give Melissa in the office all sorts of credit for constantly doing damage control. None of this was her fault. There is a major lack in communication from the fellows doing the work and the office. The fellows simply don't let the office know what is going on and that makes the office staff in a very uncomfortable situation as they have to answer to the clients..

Once the job finally started, the workers were efficient and seemed to do high quality work. We really haven't had a major downpour yet to test the downspouts, but it appears that they were applied properly with precision. They match the color of the house, but not the design. We would have liked oblong downspouts to match the gutters and style of the house, but these were not available. However the round ones are ok, not bad at all really.

There were no problems encountered.

I had just replaced my roof and painted the exterior of my 1,800 sq ft. house and needed new rain gutters. They came to my house to see what I needed done and to measure for new gutters and gutter guards to keep leaves out of the troughs. I liked that their gutters were seamless and fabricated to specfically fit my house. On the install date I went to work and came home to beautiful gutters that were the finishing touch on my updated exterior. My old gutters were gone and my yard was clean. I was very happy with the product and the installation.

I had obtained one other estimate before I called them. The first estimate was sent to me via mail about a week after they came to the house. Five Star came and gave me the estimate right away. They were about half of what the other estimate was. They installed the gutters in a few hours and were fast and efficient and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone.

It went well. They were a little lax about follow up but I was pleased.
