They were timely and punctual and did what I asked them to do.

Nick was great! We had a pilot light that wouldn't stay lit. He first adjusted the thermocouple and got it going but, of course, it went out again after he left. He came right back and replaced the unit. He was very friendly and did a much more professional job than the plumber who installed the last one back in 2000. I wouldn't hesitate to call First Call again.

Leak was quickly located and repaired in a matter of minutes. Work was performed by Nick, a skilled professional who is quite personable & polite. Thank you so much for the speedy response and fix!

We called First Call Plumbing based on our first good experience with the provider. I rated punctuality as B because the main office mismanaged my first appointment. On the second appointment, I was given an estimate of $85/hour for 2 hours of work. On the day of the service, Todd arrived at 8am and started work at 8:10. Pace of work was moderate but he entertained at least one phone call during work and he arrived with only one hose for the two water heaters that needed to be drained. I provided another hose so draining could be done in parallel. Work was completed at 10:10. The bill was written for 2.5 hours of work + parts. I objected to the extra half hour charge. I was told that the additional ten minutes was rounded up to the next half hour. I pointed out that he started work at 8:10 and he took a phone call so he only worked for 2 hours. I was told "it is what it is". I said that I expected more from First Call, I was told "Do you know how difficult it is to run a business with workman's comp and travel expense? I would loose money if I charge you any less." I said I fully appreciate the tough competitive climate and that's why I wanted to support your business model and called you, but if you were going to lose money shouldn't you have reflect that in your bid and estimate? I was told that "Had I quoted you for $100/hour you would not have hired me". We will continue to consider First Call based on our excellent first experience with them, however, experiences such as the above does considerable damage to the environment of trust they work so hard to create - hence a B.

Overall estimate to repair all the plumbing was very high. I was able to find another reputable plumbing company to do the work at 50% less and in a much quicker timeframe. First Call is very professional and competent, just not competitive in repair costs with other established companies.

Excellent service all around! What a relief to finally locate a great local plumbing company. My call was promptly responded to and Rod was at my house within 1.5 hrs. The work was quickly & professionally done by Jordon, who even wore booties in the house. In addition he was able to unclog my eyeglasses from the toilet drain, at no charge! My entire experience with "First Call Plumbing" was AAA+ therefore I sincerely recommend them without hesitation and will use them for all of my future plumbing work.

It went very well. They were very professional, straightforward and they submitted the information to the insurance company for me. I had no problem and they're very competitive. They also do emergency insurance work and they were here the day I called them.

The park manager came over and as suspected by Ron the park was responsible for the repair. I cannot say how much my husband and I appreciated this. The park manager called his repair people and it will be fixed tomorrow. This is the company I will use over and over again for my plumbing needs. And I certainly will tell all my friends.

I have had a great plumber for a few years, but he is having trouble serving my area. I needed to find a closer plumber. I tried a few local guys and they never even called me back. I decided to try Angie's List and eventually spoke with Rod. Despite the Memorial Day holiday and manpower issues he was having, he made time to come out and take care of us. Looked like it was going to be a piece of cake, but my unit ended up having a non-standard connection. He had to go to the store to get the correct fitting. He did not change his estimate. The connection is perfect. He thought of a better way to do it than I would have if I diy'ed it (I am not a good amateur plumber!). I feel good that the work is done right and my wife sleeps better at night knowing that a professional worked on the gas instead of me. Rod also took time to look at a drain I need to have fixed and we will be doing that soon. I highly recommend using him.

We were smelling gas from our hot water heater and called the gas company. They identified the problem but said we'd need a plumber to fix it. First Call was billed as doing emergency repairs, so we called them. A plumber came out within a couple of hours, repaired the controller, and told us the water heater was still under warranty (we'd just bought the house and had no idea), so the part would be covered, and we'd only need to pay for the labor of replacing it. He really seemed to know his trade; I'd definitely hire them again.

Job completed in 40 mins. Had to cut out the 30 yr old drain assembly. My only objection was getting slapped with such a huge bill. $215 is about twice what I expected to pay for this job. 45 mins in my home. The tech said they don't charge by the hour but the job. Even told me he gave me a break because it was listed in his book at $250. Ridiculous! I won't call this company again.

It is a company that we can trust. The job they did was very good. Services man. I am overall grading them an A.

Required 2 call backs for unresolved leak

Plumber arrived on time at 8 AM and introduced himself as Junior. He was polite and professional. New hot water heater was installed that morning and the old one was hauled away. Obviously, I would have preferred not having the expense, and this provider isn't inexpensive having charged me $1000 (used a $25 Angie's List Coupon to bring it down to $975), but they got the job done quickly, professionally and I'm satisfied with the work. No complaints.

They were prompt courteous and quick. I'd recommend them to anyone needing a local plumber.

Rob came over and bid the job and the following day. The job was complete and the price was very fair, and Rob was very professional.

We found the leak late in the day. The new water heater was installed that evening. The old appliance was taken away, and we had hot water within the hour.

Everything went fine,the only hiccup was that Rod went to our old address instead of the current one. This meant a delay of about 20 minutes not a huge deal. I understand that the price is most likely on the higher end for a water heater replacment, but I wanted it done correctly. Rod was honest and upfront about everything. He told me about the warranty that came with the water heater and told me for additional 150 they could extend the warrany for another 5 years. He was not pushy or insistent just wanted me to be aware of it. Overall it a good experience and I will use them again for any plumbing needs I have. Honest, professional and quality, what more could you want.

I am very happy with their services and have called them several times for help with various plumbing needs.
