Description of Work: The technician talked us into replacing our faulty water softener with a Halo filter system, never telling us that the softener could be repaired for a few hundred dollars. The Halo is not very satisfactory. Tech also installed three new Toto lo-flo toilets that we had bought separately. | |If you use them, do not let the technician in any part of the house unsupervised. That should always be done if one does not know the tech well. In our case we were missing two items that, in our opinions, could only have been taken by the workman.

Description of Work: Company advertised a deal for $299 for a new toilet installed. It was advertised as "your choice of elongated or round toilet" (i have copies of that announcement). After purchasing the deal and discussing the details of the installation they then informed me that an elongated toilet would be an extra $175. They admitted that they had mistakenly advertised the option then changed it to only a round toilet. The bathroom it is going in is very small, no sink or bath and can only fit an elongated toilet. The company informed me that they had refunded our money to Angie's List. I request that you return the money to me. Thank you.

+ -1 moreThis is the second time I have used them in 18 months. Both times they were on time and did the job as expected. A different plumber showed up for each job and both were professional and friendly. They were hard workers and knew what was best for the job. They gave me options but didn't try and sell me some work I didn't need. The price might seem high but is fair if you want a pro who gets the job done right. The most recent plumber even helped me with a question on installing a hard wood floor and then lent me his grinder! He said he lived around the corner and could pick it up later. I am very happy with them.
Description of Work: Replace faulty pressure regulator. Previously they replaced a hot water heater.
