I left for work, put the key under the mat. When I returned, Pablo was cleaning the carpet. Not only was he a pleasant man, being a woman, I felt comfortable with him. They did not charge me extra for spotting. I also found out the same family has owned this business since 1986. It is nice to work with a local vendor who has been here for such a long time. I will recommend A-1 Pro Cleaners to all of my friends and family.

UPDATE 9/8/14: The technician returned and admitted that the problem was his fault. He proceeded to attempt to clean the brown streaks out of my ivory carpets and said that he could see the dirt coming up...but he was wrong. My carpet still has brown streaks all over it in the livingroom. The tech was very immature and unprofessional as well. When I suggested that he go over some areas a third time because I could see that the streaks were still there even when wet, he replied "what do you expect for $85.00?". He complained that he'd worked on my carpet for 2.5 hrs and he only gets $15.00. As I explained, that is NOT my problem and when a company charges $85.00 that is the amount I expect to pay for better service than he provided. I had planned on paying the $85.00 fee (since I had already stopped payment on the check I gave to the tech on 9/5/14) and had the check written when the tech stormed off without saying goodbye or taking my check. I am so done with this company. The Manager really needs to address this with her tech so other homeowners might not have the same issues. 9/5/14 - This company made my carpet look MUCH worse than before they started. Either they'd neglected to clean their machine after cleaning someone else's carpet before mine or they simply smeared dirt and stains from some locations in my loving room to the rest of the area. My carpet looks horrible. My husband is afraid they have destroyed it. It's obvious the machine left streaks all over the carpet. We are furious and wanted this corrected immediately...although we are actually afraid to bring the same company out again for fear that they will just make a bad scene even worse!

A1 cleaned the carpets go the entire house before we moved in. The service and professionalism was beyond reproach. The tech was highly knowledgeable about how to get spots out. He took his time while still being fairly quick overall. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of getting their carpets cleaned.

They were able to service our carpets within a few days of our phone call, and did a fantastic job! Their prices were very competitive and we would definitely use them again!

He was running late, so rather than simply get there and work later, he pretended to be lost for about 45 minutes, despite being given simple directions, then had his office call to reschedule the appointment. I had to take off work to meet them, and they flaked. His manager was no help at all. This is a big company with no local accountability. I called Deep Steam after they failed to show up and they squeezed me in the next day as I already had my furniture moved out. Deep Steam saved the day and did a fantastic job. Never use A-1. They are terrible.
