One day was scheduled but turned into 2-day job, which Michael had allowed for in his schedule. His service does not include painting but he delivered the new primed baseboards 2 weeks in advance so we had plenty of time to paint them ourselves, which was fine with us and saved us money. He also loaned us his saw horses to use with my own to paint the 16 ft. boards. Michael has many construction related skills and a friendly personality. He also has contractor-grade table saw, compressor and other pro tools that contribute to a quality finished product. We found him good to work with and this was the second job we hired him for. His rates are fair and we will consider hiring him again.

I was very satisfied with the service Michael (the owner) provided. I just moved into a house and had lots of repair work- some big and some small. He is replaced drywall and baseboards, made shelves for my closet, installed light fixtures. Whatever I asked him to do, he knew how to do it well and efficiently.

as with a dozen other handymen (although he actually does have a contractors license, which is a plus), I had to call several times to get on his schedule. still, seems like he has more integrity than most. he knew what another handyman had quoted me and said he could do better job and not cost much more; so I said ok. when actual bid was written up, it ended up that it cost several hundred dollars more than he originally indicated and i was really bummed. he also made one decision that he didn't run by me and i wouldn't have agreed to had i been asked. quality/finish was less than i would have expected in some respects. but at least he seemed like a and quot;normaland quot; person compared to some of the sketchy people i either called or met besides him.

Michael Payne, the owner of the service, met me at the home to give an estimate. Directly after that he met me at Home Depot to help me pick out the sinks, dishwasher and thermostat. We arranged for him to pick up the items and deliver to the home.Since I live out of town, I gave him a key and he agreed that the work would be completed by July 6. He installed the sinks and the thermostat without complications. The dishwasher installation required the cabinet to be removed and finish carpentry to be performed after the dishwasher was in. In addition, there was no adequate electrical service under the sink so he installed an outlet for the dishwasher. He left the premises clean.
