Description of Work: Working with Simple Visions was excellent. After purchasing a dated house, we hired Lou for a list of repairs; removing carpet, removing popcorn ceilings, renovating a room, adding a closet, paint throughout, etc. He was prompt and had excellent time management. He helped us pick products and responded to our input and changes along the way. We can't wait to work with him again!

Description of Work: Did not respond to initial call for 1 week. (was apparently sick) When I finally got them on the phone woman said had to check schedule with husband (for a small job) and would call right back. Last I ever heard from them.

Description of Work: Two bathroom remodels, done beautifully! Very "clean" (low dust) during construction, on time, thoughtful, listened to our needs & design concerns. A great experience!

Description of Work: Siding removal on the whole east wall of the house. Replacement and/or use of established Tyvek paper underguard. Placement of ant control under east side of house. Placement of new flashing around some windows, new siding. Removed rotten wood around one window and replacement with new wood. Replacement of trim around windows. New paint on siding and around windows. Water management due to leaks around windows.

Description of Work: Lou replaced two wood windows that had substantial rot damage with new vinyl windows. I had asked him to copy a previous installation of the windows.

Description of Work: removed old tile counter tops, retiled very large area... replaced and refaced cabinets, painted walls/ceiling..installed recessed lights, placed track lights/puck lights and rope lights, new sink/plumbing. Built in book cases on either end of cabinets .. retextured walls and ceiling to match existing area near dining room. They build all new shelves and drawers w/roll outs.

Description of Work: I had what they call a "surface" remodel on most of my interior..all 3 bedrooms got new paint (he uses non toxic paint only) and laminate flooring, window frames and baseboards...Master got a custom closet, ..They also removed from the whole house the "popcorn" ceilings and re-textured and painted... the main bath got re-textured and painted, new chair rail, curved shower curtain rod and new over the toilet niche as well as painting the existing over the sink vanity... The living room got recessed lighting on a dimmer... windows got re-framed and new baseboards and paint...as well as new laminate flooring... The media room got new paint, baseboards and window frames... the best part of this room is the new closet office... a wonderful light work space for office/sewing... its beautiful and I love it... its one of my very favorite things! The kitchen: New tile counter tops and recycled glass back splash with an awesome new technique called Schluter, which uses brushed nickel edging. The cabinets were "refreshed" wth paint and resurfacing .. bamboo flooring and a custom microwave/wine rack cupboard along with pull outs for the lower cabinets, making them remarkably easier to use, new sink and faucet.. some rotten wood was replaced under the sink... new lighting and window frames as well as crown molding .. excellent result ...for a great price I might add. They also cleaned and checked out my furnace and sealed all the widows before replacing frames. All this on time and on BUDGET.... no surprises... even with my change orders he was quick to get me the costs so I could assess the importance to me and my budget.
