Description of Work: Diagnosed under heating dryer with 2 problems and quickly fixed both- clogged lint vent hose and dying heating elements. He even shortened, straightened and reattached the lint vent hose to the house so it would be less likely to build up in the future. |

Description of Work: Fixed my dishwasher. I asked if due to the age of the dishwasher it would be cost effective to fix it. I told Harold what the problem was and he said it might not be worth it because of the age of the dishwasher but said he'd call me back. When he called he said he found the part and it would cost between $100 - $150 to fix. He was very nice and honest. I would recommend him to others

+ -1 moreHarold is polite, prompt, and professional. He diagnosed the problems quickly and accurately. The only wait time we had was for parts to arrive, but in Humboldt County we are accustomed to that. We would definitely hire Harold again and also recommend him to others.
Description of Work: On the first visit he replaced the control panel on the dryer as the dryer would only run for a few minutes at a time. A couple of weeks later our oven would not turn off and he replaced the control panel on it as well.

+ -1 moreMy washing machine sounded like the drum was scraping on something. We had the unit totally apart. Harold came by looked at it and said the motor was bad. Said we could replace it ourselves and offered to order the motor for us. We declined the offer. He charged us a half price service call.

+ -1 moreOur 4 year old kitchen range stopped working about the time we found a mouse had invaded our house. Harold's was the closest repair shop, so we called, and he came out the next day, identified the problem (the mouse had pee'd on a primary circuit board in the range), ordered a replacement part, which arrived the next day and provided the fix to the problem. Range works like new again, and Harold found no other damage during his evaluation.
Description of Work: Identified the problem with a kitchen range failure as circuit board damage. Found and delivered a replacement for the board which resolved the problem.
