I had also specifically asked them to clean out the fireplace and garage. I had no idea though that I needed to tell them to not remove the items out of the cupboards. I didn't even get some of my items back because they had bagged it all up in trash bags. I called them over the weekend and left several messages. I was hoping that they would catch the cleaners before they threw things away. It was minor things that they took, but it was shocking that they took it. It was scheduled to be a general cleaning, not a clean OUT.
They apparently had a bad overflow from a sink in an upstairs bathroom and didn't even tell me about it! They knew that it had happened because the cabinet underneath had been hand dried, but the carpet was soaked. Again, I think it will be ok, but the fact that they didn't even tell me is unprofessional.
They were initially late, and then they rushed through the cleaning. When I finally spoke to someone the next week, the girl, Shannon, told me that she had no authority to resolve an issue or complaint. But she said that she would have Dan, the owner, would call me. He never called, but a man named Peter Richards called me and left a message. I have left him several messages and he hasn't called back either. Now I call the office, and a different girl answers the phone. I inquired about their licensing and insurance (because I wanted to make a claim) and she answered that she had no idea and she would have and quot;some bodyand quot; call me back. I would think if they had licensing , that she would have been able to easily provide me with the information.
As this point, I am asking to be paid back for the things that they took and if nothing else the money back that I paid because they didn't even do a good cleaning job.
2/12/2014 They claimed that they never do a trash out, but they trashed out everything when I specifically asked for a cleaning. They opened all my drawers, cubbards and threw out everything. Even things that were in packaging that haven't even been opened yet. They threw out duct-tape, tools, cleaning supplies, light bulbs absolutely everything. They didn't even dust or clean the cubbards and drawers. I am a disabled woman, I didn't have my cain to walk around, I didn't want to get in their way. I can't supervise 4 people being in the state I am in, they took advantage of a disabled woman. I sat in my car 40' away and they never came to me to ask me about the work being done.
"• STARTING TIME – According to our records the crew was schedule to arrive between 1:30-2:00pm • TRASH REMOVAL – She had initially requested a complete trash-out, as the house was unoccupied, with no furniture or belongings in it at the time of service. We informed her, while scheduling the appointment, that we would not remove anything from her property. We have this policy in place to protect ourselves from incidences such as this. We clarified that we would bag up any trash that she desired and place it in her trash area onsite. She agreed to this, and to our rate of $82/hr for a team of 3 employees and then scheduled the service. We did clean out miscellaneous items from cabinets and cupboards, these includes old bottles of chemicals, light bulbs, and insect repellent as we were directed to. All of these items were then bagged up in to trash bags and left in her trash area as we had previously discussed with her. • SUPERVISION She was on-site directing and supervising the crew the whole time. At no point during the service did she express to the crew that their work was deviating from the plan nor did she report anything to management in our office. • SINK OVERFLOW – There was no overflow in any sink at any time while we were there • INSURANCE – We do carry Workers Compensation and General Liability but do not disclose information regard these policies to irate people over the phone."
bathrooms and kitchen. I called, they scheduled for the next day, they arrived, I
returned to a spotless home and was MAILED a bill within a couple of
days. At least one of the bathrooms needed MAJOR work, particularly in
the bathtub that accumulates hard water deposits along with the usual
grime. I paid for two hours of work for a 3 bedroom, den, 3 bathroom
townhouse and definitely got my money's worth. I so appreciated the
trust in mailing the bill, especially for a first-time user. I highly
recommend this company and will continue to do business with them.
