 + -1 moreThe worst experience of my life! Dishonest! Dozens of code violations! Misrepresentations! Taking over 2 years to rebuild my 1671 square foot house. Have worked an average of 1.5 days a month! Don't follow plans! Do what they want regardless! DO NOT HIRE!

I don't think my restoration job sounded "big" enough for them (read $$$$$$$$$), because as soon as I mentioned that I live in a modular home in a senior community, I was informed that they wouldn't be interested in the job. Funny, up until I gave the receptionist these facts, she was very interested in the city I lived in, the name of my insurance company and even wanted the claim number my insurance assigned to my case. She was polite enough, but my guess she is trained to sniff out the higher value claims, or maybe has access to insurance company databases where she can look up actual insurance payouts. Otherwise, why would she want my insurance claim number in advance to anyone even submitting a bid for the work. Hummmm. My advice is unless you have a expensive job, don't waste your time with KB Construction. They are not interested.
Description of Work: I had water damage to my laundry room, kitchen, and master bedroom and master bath and called KB Construction because they advertise that they are specialists in insurance restoration. We needed new sub-floors, flooring, carpentry work, painting, etc., and wanted to have someone come out to bid on the job.

 + 0 moreWork was needed due to a water damage issue and before they could finish a second major issue happened (not their fault at all). So a lot of work had to be completed again.
Description of Work: Good enough. But I was left wondering if I was their top priority. Felt like my repairs were forced in between other jobs for parts of the work. Good work. But not high grades on the timing. Because of a mishap on the granite in the kitchen I was without a kitchen sink for longer than expected. All the subcontractors were professional, nice and when they were here they worked very hard. Everyone cleaned up their work and the punch list was completed efficiently and without complaint. As I said earlier, work quality was good on plumbing, granit fabrication, painters, carpet installation & cleaning and the cabinet maker.
