Description of Work: After a visit by the Heating A/C company I had been using for service, I was advised that my central air unit needed to be replaced. I received an estimate of $5,000 to replace my current system with a two (2) ton central air unit. I called Equi-Cool for an estimate and was told I could get a two and one half (2 !/2) ton unit for $4,500. Equi-Cool and Al Caceres did a wonderful job of installation. When the board of directors of my Homeowners Association tried to tell me that the foundation for the unit needed to be changed (at a much more expensive rate) Al came to the board meeting and told them that the unit met ALL code requirements and that the proposed change was not necessary. The board relented. Since that time, I had to have Al out to service the unit. Since it was still under warrenty, there was no cost for parts, but Al had to travel to downtown LA twice to get the part. He worked on the unit for several hours, but only charged me $150.00 labor.
