+ -1 moreIt worked out good. They were supposed to send out a $100 promotion deal to my mom because she referred me and it took an extra month for her to get it. The customer service was excellent. They got the system installed in about 1 hour.

+ -1 moreAmerican Home Alarms advertised home security systems in the Dallas/Ft Worth papers. When I called, I was promised a $100 VISA gift card if I agreed for service at that time. I did so, they arranged a local security company to come to my home and install a security system. After 3-4 weeks, I had not received the promised Visa card. When I called, I was promised the Visa card the next week. Two months later I have not received the $100 gift card. The only thing this company did was telephone sales for an ADT monitored system, arranged a Dallas/Ft Worth company to install in my home, and (apparently) ignored a promise to send a gift card for my business. I see on this company web site a promise for Visa card. I also received a referral request by postal mail that promised similar Visa cards for referring new customers to them. I don't believe they will ever send me a Visa card as promised!
