+ -1 moreMy backyard is not bing at all. He did not dispose of the left over grass (it is still sitting in my yard). I asked him to reset my sprinkler system and he asked me for the manual, which I gave him, and he never returned it. He did not do the things that he said, for instance, his edger broke and he said that he was coming back to finish the job and he never did. So overall I had a very bad experience and I don't know if I will ever use Angie's List agai, especially for the High Desert area!
Description of Work: To cut front and back yard and pull weeds.

+ 0 morefROM DAY ONE, OSCAR EXPLAINED IN DETAIL HIS PLANS FOR THE YARD AND KEPT ME INFORMED AS TO PROBLEMS AND PLANS FOR THE DAY. HE DIRECTED ALL ACTIVITIES OF HIS CREW WHILE ACTIVELY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROJECT.
Description of Work: i PURCHASED A HOME THAT NEEDED LANDSCAPING. OSCAR ASKED FOR MY THOUGHTS ON WORK TO BE DONE AND PROVIDED SUGGESTIONS BUT LEFT FINAL DECISIONS TO ME. MANY SUGGESTIONS WERE VERY BENEFICIAL. OSCAR RESPONDED QUICKLY WITH AN ACCEPTABLE BID AND PROVIDED A ZERESCAPE YARD: MULTICOLORED ROCK, DRIP WATERING SYSTEM. HE FOUND GROUND WATER NOT DRAINING PROPERLY AND IMPROVED DRAINAGE., HE INSTALLED CEMENT RETAINING WALLS TO KEEP NEIGHBOR'S DOGS FROM DIGGING UNDER FENCE. HE INSTALLED ICE PLANT GROUND COVER AND AT HIS SUGGESTION ADDED PAALM PLANT ACCENTS. IN ADDITION, HE SAVED THREE TREES WHICH APPEARED TO BE BEYOND REPAIR.
