I am sorry to say I am extremely disappointed. We have used Hitt Plumbing in the past and was very satisfied. This time the outcome was not so good. Our main concern was the awful smell that filled the west side of the house particularly in the laundry room. The tech could not detect the smell, so a smoke test was done to locate a possible leak. The test revealed the nearby toilet as the source. The tech placed 3 wax rings to satisfy the issue and snaked the washer drain. The smell was still there. We approx $600.00 for Hitt Plumbing services. We hired another plumber and the techs could indeed smell the odor. Another smoke test was done and the same toilet again was the main source. The toilet was repaired. In addition a camera showed that the washer drain needed to be jetted (cleaned). Done...NO MORE SMELL! WE ARE OUT $600.00

Did the job fast and good, but I think $121 to replace the wax ring in less than an hour was a bit over priced

The service was fine, no problem at all. They did a good job. It took them probably an hour to complete the work.

it went well, it didn't take long and he didn't make a mess, he even put booties on over his boots each time before he entered the house, this was really appreciated sense it had been raining.

He came in, looked at the toilet and checked everything out. He was professional and he was courteous. He wasn't there very long and took care of the problem. He came the day I called him. Good service.

We found a river flowing from the main water line outside our home. I found them through Angie's List and called them. They got here within a few 90 minutes. Upon arriving, they got to work right away. Within another 90 minutes they were finished. Quite a great turnaround time. Their fee was more than affordable. While they were working, I asked them a few questions regarding the plumbing in the house and they were more than polite about everything. I will definitely call them again. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Had to jackhammer slab down to copper pipe where leak was occurring underneath.

The plumber was very courteous and on time. He explained the issue at hand and gave an estimate. The work was performed on the same day. Excellent Customer Service and professional workmanship. Highly recommend.

I had water spots in the ceiling below both upstairs bathrooms. I called Hitt Plumbing after reading reviews on Angie's list & Skip came out - he replaced the drain in the master (it was bent/not screwing in correctly) and also corrected/replaced both overflows - he also replaced my faucet in the master because it didn't shut off properly. He identified that there were small cracks in both tubs & referred me to a tub re-glaze service & shower glass company (my shower enclosure was also causing trouble. When I called the tub guy he had me fill up the tubs & I found the corrections he did on the master bath corrected the problem (which saved me 600-800 in tub fees)

We had water leaking from under the tub when we did laundry. The washing machine was on the same part of the drain system. Through the access panel behind the tub, I could see water rising up around the stub going down into the slab. Robert from Hitt Plumbing explained what work needed to be done in a clear professional manner. He had to chip the old drain system out of the concrete slab and replaced everything from the main sewer line of the house up to and including the tub drain trap and over low riser. He replaced the clean out and redid the laundry drain piping so that it worked more efficiently. He also enlarged the access panel in the wall and installed a new access door. The work was all inclusive including repairing the slab, footing, and stucco around the enlarged access panel. He kept the work area clean and picked up. The only reason why I gave a B for punctuality is because he was slightly late since he had been working on a previous job that took longer than he expected. But not a deal breaker.

I called late the day before and was able to schedule a morning appointment. He was very courteous and professional and got the job done in no time.

The guy who came out made a lot of mistakes and use poor (even dangerous) workmanship. After re-plumbing the hot water heater, he either didn't notice or tell me that I also had a gas leak in the gas line to my hot water heater! I noticed it two days later, on my own, after he was long gone. In regards to my main line valves. The service guy didn't weld them correctly and one of the valves went bad within days. As far as the laundry lines... the jury is still out, because I haven't connected a washer to them yet. I'm fearful though that there will be issues. However, the reason I gave the company a D and not an F, is because they sent someone to correct everything. The service guy they sent was awesome and knew plumbing very well. He was initially appalled himself by the workmanship and called his company himself because he didn't believe they did my job. He said numerous times that "we don't do thins..." So, when he found out that it was in fact one of his co-worker that did my job, he was embarrassed and apologetic. So, I think they may have bad apples and good apples at Hitt Plumbing. GOOD LUCK!

The process went well. The plumber tried to find out where the leak was coming from without doing a leak detection; to try to save me from spending $225 on a leak detection. Unfortunately a leak detection was needed. He was able to find out where the leak was coming from and determine it was the hot water line underneath the slab. He gave me a fare estimate to fix it but I wanted other quotes from different plumbers.

Robert showed up very close to when he said he would be there and since I am not easy to find I was happy with that. He got right to work. He finished around 2 hours later and cleaned up afterwards and then took the time to show me what he had done. He was pleasant and I was happy with the results.

Called and got service the same day. Was told on phone that he would be there in 15 to 20 minutes and he did not arrive for over one hour. Once there he assessed problem and got right to work. Very professional and did a great job.

I called Thursday morning and they said they would come between 8:30 and 9:30 to clear my sewer blockage between the kitchen and the bathroom. They called and said the job that Robert was doing was going to take longer than they had planned. Robert arrived at 1:30 and cleared the sewer blockage. Robert did the work in a very professional manner. His spread cloths around the working area and when he was finished the area was very clean. I would recommended Hitt Plumbing for future work.

We found Hitt on Angie's List. We were really worried because we thought it was going to be an expensive job. He came out and said there wasn't a problem, and he would take care of it. It took him about an hour, and he completed the repair. He was punctual, and a little hard of hearing, but he did a good job. He removed the pavers, fixed the leak, and put the pavers back. He did a good job, and it's obvious that he's proud of they type of work he does. The price was definitely an A!. We were very relived it wasn't an expensive repair, and we will use Hitt again.

Called Hitt Plumbing for service. Received a service time for the next day, which was fulfilled. Service was performed in a professional manner and we were kept informed. We were expecting to pay more but were pleased with the quality or work and the price. SEE ABOVE.

I had a really great response from them. They solved the problem right away and fixed it to perfection. They did it in a timely manner. They took care of everything in the way it needed to be taken care of. The job cost me $170 for 2 hours, which included parts. I thought it was a fair and competitive price. I will use them again in the future.
