+ -1 moreMike was courteous and professional. He ran the drain snake through out my entire house. Gave me some tips on maintaining my drains and pointed out that my curbside clean out was installed backwards and that a water clean out needed support. When he was finished Mike washed down the mess in the drive way, clean up my sinks and bath tub. He also treated my pipes with lubricant to prevent future plugs. He arrived on time, was professonal, had the drains unplugged and was cleaned up and ready to go within about an hour. I really appreciated his calm professional manner. I highly recommend Drain Doctors and Plumbers to anyone needing plumbing work.
Description of Work: I called Mike at 4:30.I had called Mike by mistake hoping to reach other "diamond certified" Drain Doctor company. when that company refused to honor their appointment with me I called Mike right back. I explained I my drains were back up and I couldn't shower, do dishes or wash clothes. It was 4:30 in the afternnoon on a Friday and he was in Antioch and I was in Martinez. Yet despite the fact that late evening call out are the last thing people want Mike was there inside 30 minutes.

+ 0 moreMichael worked efficiently and steadily for four hours, with no breaks for food or drink, trying everything he could think of to get the old corroded drains to clear. We had tried do-it-yourself methods with no luck prior to giving up and calling a plumber, so we know it was truly a big problem. It was obvious that Michael was not exaggerating when he said he does plumbing because he loves it; it is also obvious that, like a dog with a bone, he doesn't give up until he gets it right.
Description of Work: Owner, Michael Maguire, answered the call, provided an estimate over the phone after asking pertinent questions, and personally showed up promptly the same day (Saturday, Labor Day Weekend). He cleared seriously clogged 50+-year old main drains, cleared bathroom roof vent, pulled and re seated toilet, cleared and sealed leaky bathroom sink trap, opened stuck main access port and installed new bolt for ease of opening.
