 + -1 moreTyler was able to accommodate my schedule for estimate and repair. He diagnosed the problem quickly and returned a day later to make repair. It wasn't urgent so I was fine with the timing. He was able to use a recycled part to brace the door and so the actual cost was a bit less. Very honest and professional. I definitely recommend him and would use him again.
Description of Work: Tyler found a crack in the door which was causing it to bow a lot when going up and down. A supporting bar was installed and door is now working great.

 + -1 morePretty simple. Tyler showed up on time, and went over what was needed. We had already discussed the problem and solution over the phone. The old unit's circuit board was dumping the remote codes and even new remotes wouldn't program anymore. He told me he could replace the board but after some more info, I just decided to replace the motor/chain unit with a new one. He completed his work within an 1 1/2. He is through, honest and professional. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tyler for any garage door repair without hesitation. Look no further, he is your man.
Description of Work: Tyler put in a new motor, chain and track. He also repaired some minor damage to the old door by reinforcing one of the panels with a strut.

 + -1 moreTyler was knowledgeable, informative, and personable. When I initially called him to describe what happened to our garage door, Tyler diagnosed our problem right away. Work was done promptly and professionally and on the Saturday right after New Year's! Other companies were closed until Monday.
Description of Work: Replaced broken torsion spring bar on one of our garage doors. Tyler also replaced one of the rollers but I asked him to replace all of them since they were nearly 23 years old.

 + -1 moreTyler arrived on time and it took him about a half hour to make the repairs. He replaced the broken extension spring. I explained that the opener had been making a lot of noise. He determined that the screw carriage needed to be replaced. He had the part and replaced that too. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. The price was what he quoted on the telephone. I would definitely call Tyler again.

 + -1 moreThe price was not an issue. They are a small company. He did very well. For $800, he replaced our garage door and reconnected our garage door opener and he held away our old door. He had to order our door because it was an odd size which took an extra 2 weeks. If he hadn't had to order it, he could have done it 2 or 3 days. He was very good. He gave us a lot of information about garage doors and we like that. He explained different features and what's important and what's less important about the 2 choices you make. We got a 3 year warranty parts and labor on the door.
Description of Work: I used Delta Diablo Doors to replace our garage doors.

Description of Work: Called him because garage door wouldn't work in my first home . It wasn't broken but just needed a very minor adjustment. He showed me something about maintenance and tod me what to look for in my 20+ year old door. I have decided to keep his card and will use him when I do need to get a new door.

 + -1 moreTyler was very professional, helpful and most importantly honest. He did not try to sell me a garage door because I thought I needed one. I will be ordering my garage door opener from Delta Diablo Doors.
Description of Work: Tyler from Delta Diablo Doors came out on a short notice and on time to measure for a new garage door that I wanted to get before getting the house painted. After inspecting my garage door he determined that my existing garage door was in good condition and only needed thorough caulking, sanding and painting. He did indicated that my garage door opener is what needs to be replaced.

Description of Work: Garage door would not close even after adjusting downward force. Problem was a worn out gear. When replaced, all worked fine. While here, he checked all other components and oiled hinges. Highly Recommend delta diablo. A side note, II live in a gated community and when I called the gate to issue a pass, the attendant said I was getting the best garage door repair guy in the area as he and other friends had used delta previously

Description of Work: I have a flat one-piece garage door that is made of redwood. It is more than 47 years old. I had a new motorized opener/closer installed 5 yrs. ago after the old one failed. The new one has been a problem recently and I had the company who did the original install come out for a look. They said the door was warped and essentially not reparable. A rough estimate of a new, roller door was greater than /$5K. I saw good reviews of Delta Diablo Door on Yelp and called for an estimate. Tyler came out today at about 4:45 PM and looked over the door. He said that the door was actually in good condition. He recognized that the hardware could use a lot of adjusting. That included retensioning the springs, revising the bracket positions and revising the original install of the motor/screw drive. He also did some other reinforcing. This company is a one-man operation. If you have a flat (tilt-up) door don't even think of having anyone else look at the problem. This is an honest craftsman who I am delighted to recommend.
