+ 1 moreI am VERY satisfied with Dave so much so that he is doing another job for me on 1/13/12. Replacing 3 interior doors (pre-hung); which includes the doorknobs and casing; install my carbon monixode alarm Raising a shelf in my daughters room and then just loosing a vent so I can replace it(previous owners painted over the vent, so it is hard for me to loosen the screws).
Description of Work: I had the toilet replaced; Piping under my bathroom sink replaced; linen rack in my bathroom rehung and then some rotted fence wood replaced. He is prompt and if he is running behind he will give a call, if only we can get cable to do that. I am big on being punctual. He is neat and very courteous. When he replaced my wood he aligned my entry gate so now I can close it better (and I didn't even ask him to do that!) IYou have to get the materials yourself however if the load is large(like doors) he will pick it up for you but you have to ensure to make all the arrangements with the store in which he has to go and pick it up from, including giving him the paperwork for which he has to show proof of pickup. Get a confirmation from him via email so that it is understood between both parties the day/time and expectations required of him when he arrives, because he arrives ready to work.

+ -1 moreDave Pilkington is the best handyman I have found. He installed numerous White Wire Shelves in my master bedroom closet, and suggested a way to install the supports with the least amount of obstruction. He is extremely pleasant to work with, cares about doing a good job, and I feel he hears what I have to say. In short, Dave values the preferences of his customer.
Description of Work: He installed white wire shelving, and unstuck a frozen old sliding door. He also installed several door handles, a door bell, and straightened several cabinet doors that were crooked.
