Blake of American Plumbing was our technician. He was very thorough checking for leaks via the front yard water meter, the atrium foundation & drain and the bedroom flooring/baseboards. He confirmed that we do not have a leak anywhere on our premises. He confirmed that a plumber is not who we need to resolve our water issue. Possible cause is osmosis via the walls which are attached to 3 neighbors as our dwelling is a row house. He confirmed that we do not have a leak anywhere on our premises. We feel the bill due was very fair as Blake took into consideration the time spent. Blake, a friendly & personable technician, also gave suggestions & money saving ideas, and recommended various types of trades people that may be able to aide us in resolving this frustrating problem. We're very appreciative of his professionalism and will definitely be contacting American Plumbing for our future plumbing needs.

They did great. They showed up the same day I called. There were two workers. Their communication is what stood out the most. They are the only guys I would call.

American Plumbing gave a reasonable and accurate quotation for the job in my rental unit. Performed job as described during the time slot promised. They were punctual, efficient, and professional. I was not present at the job site so I cannot attest to the quality of work. However, no complaints from the tenants so I presume it is good ! Very pleasant to do business with and would recommend.

They did a great job and were very friendly and professional. I have used them in the past and will use them again in the future.

The local power and gas company reimbursed me for the cost of the service. It was very nice and unexpected. It was fine. He came out but he didn't have the part that was required. They didn't have it in the shop. He had to go to another shop in the nearby city and pick-up the part. He came back the next day and replaced it. The few times I've used them, I've had very good service. They've been punctual and responsive. I would use them again.

The toilets both bathrooms bubbled when water was run in the shower, sink of bath tub. The internet told me it was a venting problem, but both the guy who took my call and Kurt said it was a blockage. And they were correct. I called them at 9:09am and was told a plumber would be out before 10:00am. Not only was Kurt here before 10:00am he was done with the job before 10:00am! Note to self: Tampons, although the label says flushable, can cause a blockage because they do not disintegrate or turn to mush like toilet paper, they continue to absorb water and they have a string that can get caught on rough edges or roots. Do not flush tampons.

They had very quick service, and came out for same day service on a Sunday with no extra cost. The price seemed high because he was only there for less than 15 minutes.

Current fixtures were old and had difficulties with the updated install but all was finished expertly and it looks great. It's just how I wanted it to look! Will call this company again when I need further work!

I had to keep spending money that I didn't know I was going to. American Plumbing wasn't able to stop the leak so he decided that he needed to rebuilt the toilet so he had to schedule another appointment to do that. He came back when I wasn't here to rebuild the toilet. The people were really, really nice. When I called, they send somebody out the next morning or even the same day if it was early. We will probably use them again.

I made app't. They arrived as expected. Asked about problem. Got busy and cleaned out line. Perfect.

They were fine. I only had to use him once in the last 13 years. I thought the price was a little high because it was a small job that they did and they sent two guys and it was a one man job. I figured one was in training. It was done professionally. It was a little more expensive than I expected.

It is a good company. It is family owned and I have used for almost 11 years.

John was prompt and very cordial upon arrival. He went right to work and quickly determined the problem. However, the blockage was beyond the 100 feet of cable normally carried. He was back the next day with a partner, and 250 feet of cable. Again, he was prompt. The blockage (tree roots) was found at 200 feet out, and quickly cleared. Both John and his partner were professional and efficient in completing the job. We were advised to mention our long driveway if there was a next time, so that they would bring the long cable truck the first visit.

We like them. The overall experience with them was great. We've used them for about five years.

The technician showed up at the appointed time. He was very polite. The installation space is too narrow to accommodate a standard-sized 50 gallon water heater so they installed a 50 gallon model with a narrower circumference that fit in the space. This second unit was not on the service truck so the technician had to drive to Walnut Creek to pick it up. The second unit cost a little more than the quote but I was not charged for this special delivery and I did not have to wait an extra day for it to arrive. I appreciate the fact that this company went the extra mile (literally) to see that we had a water heater installed on the day they said they would install it. All of the customer service representatives I spoke to were very pleasant and took the time to explain the process to me. I definitely recommend this company. You might find a cheaper price but you won't find better service.

Excellent, and honest straight forward discussion of problem, solution, possible future problems and recommendation for repair. Most importantly, review of problem in bathroom shower that could have cost several hundred dollars, but Kurt, the representative, from American Plumbers showed how to remedy easily and economically with a trip to a hardware store and a few minutes of time! Kurt arrived as promised, surveyed the problem, gave a quote to my daughter who called me at work for an OK, fixed the problem with the kitchen without a hitch! Absolutely refreshing (I tend to be very suspicious of workmen after being burned repeatedly). I received a recommendation to American Plumbers from a coworker and was so very pleased that I called and thanked them for their honesty! Also, and most impressive was the honest and straightforward solution to a problem in my bathroom over a cracked, worn out faucet. Kurt could have charged several hundred dollars to fix the faucet, but instead chose to take the high road by recommending a trip to ACE for a replacement part, a few minutes time and a new, fully functional shower! My faith has been restored, and American Plumbing is on my list for next time without hesitation! THANK YOU AMERICAN PLUMBING!

My water heater broke and I went to Home Depot to purchase new one and attempted to install myself. I found myself in trouble when I couldn't lift or fit into the shelf and that I'd have to cut into my copper piping. I called them and they came out the next day and replaced some piping and managed to help me get my water heater installed in a few hours.

They did a good job, they did leave a mess.

The work was completed per our original agreement/estimate. Workers showed up on time and described the work being done at the end of the day for the next. As this work included the house loosing water and waste capabilities, it was vital that they performed up to the agreement as I am convalescing. They were respectful and considerate and minimized our service interruptions. As the work meant that they had to go into the walls to replace water lines, they had to cut out drywall. The only complaint that I had was that they were messy. Cuts throughout drywall were radically unexpected, and as they stated, the bid would not include them repairing the drywall. I was left with quite a chore to repair their work. As there was a lot of work under the house, they were not careful when coming through the house and dragged dirt and mud throughout. They did not clean up well after themselves either. All in all though, it was a good experience, and I would recommend them to others.

AMERICAN PLUMBING CAME OUT THE SAME DAY I CALLED THEM. $60 IS THEIR STANDARD HOUSE CALL PRICE. HE CUT INTO THE CEILING AND PERFORMED AN EASY FIX ON THE UPSTAIRS BATHTUB. HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANY EXTRA.
